Tickets are $20 which includes dinner and can be bought at the door, but please PM me if you're coming so we can cater properly. Looking to kick things off around 7:30 and we're asking for shirts and slacks but understand with cricket not everyone will be able to adhere to that but just try to keep yourselves presentable.

Unfortunately I wont be able to make the dinner but I may call in for a beer later on in the night.
Les told me about this night a few weeks ago, a fantastic idea by Westies.
All the best for the night to Ace, enjoy it you deserve it.

Surely he can still win tge medal, reported for swearing at himself in frustration, joke!
Its not like he hit someone or swore at the umpire or his decision.

He got an automatic suspension for having 3 warnings in a 12 month period so I'm told. I hope he is still eligible, if he's adjudged the best player of the competition for the year he should win the award, I agree with your statement.

I was young and well "out there". I ended up just opening the batting so I'd waste all the fast bowlers energy trying to knock my head off, I loved it.

I hated facing Drake and North Great bowling partnership, both completely different and complimented each other
Riverside had a good one. (Garrard or somthing like that??) Yes, Mark, fierce competitor, gave me a barrage of short and at the body stuff one semi final, I don't know why?

Yes...Rundle...Gave me a barrage late in the day at PG in the dark one evening. Asked politely if I could see them.... Not sure why ? ;)

Dave Kershaw was another one we had who was amazing... Not sure if anyone is old enough here to remember him at Para Teachers... Heard he was real rapid there.

Played a rep game with Garrard, never faced him as he was never in Grade 1.

Never thought Ratters was quick, but he was a class act....for the 3 or 4 overs he bowled until he was hit for 4 and got hurt.

Got nutted by Willie at our ground one afternoon... Wasn't consistently sharp, but had periods where it clicked and then he did push them through. His run up and action was fluent so you could watch the ball easily the whole way.

Ratters first game for sandy creek was against us in grade 2 at riverside 9Sandy creek was washed out) after he got his head around the gap in the matting he bowled quick that day off about 5 steps and Corey Roberts at the other end just bowled line and length and picked up about 5 or 6 poles.

Remember a game out at smithfield opening the batting and Rundle gave my rib cage a nice work out (Prick!)

Willie bowled a great spell to us out at two wells in a semi with Benny at the other end still remember that day Willies dad dropping me at deep square leg Willie wasnt happy!

Thomlinson cracked my helmet at Sailsbury East high school
