WOW! Definitely shocked about all of this.
I went on my first and only association tour in 2010 and it was the best cricketing experience i have ever had. Wino has always helped me out in improving my game and im sure he has with many others too. With the busy schedule he has he still finds time to organise association training sessions and to even come to Fitzroy for a training session to help me and the other young lads out. This bloke has put his heart and soul into this association and to see him treated like this is absolutely shattering. Although i won't be in the association next season, it is still tough to read because i know that every bloke that represented the side in 2010 has the upmost resepct for him and if it wasn't for Wino there may not have even been a side. Like many of the others have said, Wino has put in more work than the whole exec have put together.
Good luck to whoever is taking over for the next carnival is all i can say. You have a lot to live up to!

I could have mentioned about the millions of women that threw themselves at our feet in Sydney. I'll keep those stories of the forum GH ;)

Just think I had to mention it GH, as it's a perfect example of your passion for the rep side.

to all that really want a rep side to go to melbourne.......
I ANDREW BALDING aka, smasha, baldo...
put forward , would anyone else like to contribute a bit of hard earned money into the GET OUR COACH..GOAT HERDER...
to melbourne...I know he can pay his own way butr it would be nice if us players give Mark something back and pay his way to Melbourne.....just a thought....
to all you other idiots, MARK CUSSINS is a lot of things but a back stabber ???? I think not. trying to accuse someone of this is crap unless you have proof, I have known cus for a little while now and I for one will back him if he said he knows jack off this...try chasing another line guys......
this is a crap way of doing things, but it is done (for now..not over) the exec have a lot to learn if this is how they deal with issues.
now is a time to stand up and be heard and back people who need backing and get rid of people who hide in shadows and ride the coat tails of others.
new exec committee ?
new comp ?
what ever the decision we all need to stand up and be heard....
will gladly put my hand up to help any way possible.
behind you 100% goat man.....

Did OB go and watch Vista on sat mate? For the time i was there i didn't see anyone sitting where they set up?

I think you will find OB was opening the bowling in the div 2 Grandfinal, I hope that would explain his absence from watching the Div 1 Final

1st - well done to porkers. solid total. good to see PV have a decent total to hunt. will be interesting.

2nd - WTF @ GH. Mate, lets go Tuna fishing. Got my TLD20 spooled with 50lb braid and ready to go. Big Al awaits.

WHO IS SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING MOVING COMPS???? enough is enough - surely. what are we all waiting for. show of hands please. time to go into the hands of the administrators...............

My suggestion - commence talks with Suburban NOW for a 2014/15 start. There could be a "central section" where we could all play, and some of the central teams in Suburban may find this attractive - rather than travelling miles south every week. It will add some spice to Suburban also.

Thoughts ????

Would be interested for any Suburban feedback.

Sounds like its time for the clubs to take their own futures into their own hands especially if the Administrators of the comp arent doing the right thing by the clubs

sounds good in theory but some churches teams are closer to para districts. i propose a break away competition like a churches super league. new executive. new direction. new teams.

What's the washout rule for Grand Finals? If it rains out does the minor premier win or is there a standby day?

Why don't you guys just take over your current comp or vote in those who are pro-active, you'll only drag across the same problems and it wouldn't be as easy as it sounds.
Unfortunately if your comp turns to shit there would be no way that any other association would take you on as a whole, ASCA wouldn't cater for your travel concerns considering the distance that North Haven travel for some games.
PDCA delegates wouldn't vote all teams in, Fitzroy would be the furtherest south that would come under consideration, even still I'd imagine some clubs not wanting to travel that far.
