as i understand TTJ sambo is 2nd at the moment and we are both still in, and i think everyone realises he is the best bat in the comp no matter who makes more runs, because i definitely dont see myself in the class of sambo, or JB to an extent (because he is a turtle on saturdays)

went and watched that today sturt were really bowling well and berty certainly looked more comfortable at the crease than benny but berty was given out when he wasnt out and he really was not out! benny looked very tight to start with nicking up and playin and missin alot early but once he free'd his arms he started finding the middle... things are definately looking up in the batting stocks for sheidow :D

Russell Curyer would have to be the best allrounder in section 1 by far but i hear he may be moving to melbourne to work as a jockey for Bart Cummings.

Not sure about him being the best allrounder but he certainly is one of the best. People like Sampson, Hopkins and Daniel Rowe are the others that are very good allrounders. I know he is a little fella but a jockey that is a bit of a stretch isn't it.

To be a jockey, even for track work you need to be under 55kg.

So,bloods and me could be 4 jockeys!
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Rusty is wieghing in at 60kgs at the moment but has been in the sauna preparing for his return to the racetrack. He was a top apprentice jockey in 2001.

Fair enough good luck to him. He will be a massive loss for keswick if he goes ahead with it.

this is a very interesting topic! maybe we should get the view of The Hunter on this one because he is "in the know" with things down at Keswick! Be a big loss for Keswick if it were true, but there are allrounders such as Hopkins, Sampson, Rowe, and even Ford from sheidow if a batsman/keeper is classified as an allrounder!

Since when can all rounders bat at 10? Mind you, I was going to get the gig at 5 this game until bloody South Road collapsed!!! Bastards.

Somerfield would have been a good allrounder, too bad.
