Also heard you mighta picked up a spinner who can bat a bit?

I beleive the Big Gorski is yet to confirm or deny for this season, but he threatens to leave every season. lol

As for the spinner that can bat a bit that sounds like U?

We do look like bolstering our bowling stocks with a young lad who looks rather handy, very Pidge like with an extra 50kg!! he good enough to cement my spot in the second 11!!!

We have had Gorski out training with us at Freeling. Is he any good? From what he has said he will definately be playing here as it is only down the road from his house.

agreed..very good bat when he puts his mind to it although the same cant be said about his bowling ;) i remember a few years back facing him with the new ball and he kept on bowling me bouncer after bouncer! you thought he would have learnt after the first two bouncers going for four but no he kept on bowling them  the end result,48 runs with most of them runs coming off his short-pitched bowling

In his defense he hasn't bowled alot in the last few overs neither have many others at nek since the recruitment of smasha!!! Lol but Gorski still has taken around 150 wickets so pretty handy I'd say

It was about 4 or 5 years ago that One Ball Bandit tore him apart. Short ball after short ball he dished up..

it never ceases to amaze me that season after season people would rather sit on a couch than play a game of cricket ...WTF..
from what I see and hear around the traps , we at NEK will struggle to fill two sides little own being competitive in div 1
IN MY OWN OPINION.......... OH WELL , we shall see when season starts how we shall go........good luck to all

Why do you think people are so lazy these days? Do you think the parents should wear some of the blame?
I just think a lot of parents are happy for their kids to sit around and do nothing, I also think there are so many parents that are too lazy to encourage their kids to even take up sport or physical activity.

Not only that, but it's just so easy for them to do nothing - video games, movies etc etc.

The government should come up with some incentive to get kids more active!!
