hasnt been all bright and rosey at craigmore this preseason though has it. seems there has been a bit of tension, and in-fighting at the club. which has actually lead to 2 players to reverse there decision in joining the club, and leave... and also another player to hint at leaving too. has the 'family club' image that craigmore has pushed been replaced by the desire to make div 1? from the stories i have heard this is quite possibly the case

Yes a couple players spoke to me, not in person but online, an issue was raised, discussed for an hour or so and hasnt been an issue since.
Yes the club is still a family orientated club.
Yes the club may be changing its culture a little, Nothing wrong with a strong desire to get into DIV 1. In saying that we are still looking after ALL players at the club, from A GRADE all the way down to the Juniors so nothing has changed there.
YES the Craigmore Cricket Club is still THE PLACE TO BE!

''...for a 'family orientated' club its not being very family orientated'... that was said by ur own player SUNS. im just saying what ive seen. sounds like things havent quite gone to plan with the preseason

SUNS wrote:F2F on the contrary as i repeat we have had 1 meet the coach session, well attended, NO issues raised during or after the session in regards to training. 1 issue was raised a few days later AGAIN NOTHING to do with training etc and it has been dealt with. I have spoken to the player concerned on a daily basis since, not about cricket or the club either. So it seems your now the only person that seems to have an issue.
Feel free to message me in private or speak to the club IF you really do have any ongoing concerns. Always happy to discuss any concerns you may have.

Give it a rest mate, let CCC promote their club as much as they like, they cater for all ages and genders which to me would indicate that they are trying to be as family orientated as they can.
Don't you go there on a Thursday night for a few bevvies, maybe you should be a bit more active in getting OTH back up to being the force we all know they can be.

not stopping craigmore promoting there club at all. i was just simply asking the question LM after seeing a few conversations. and yeah i do go down the club sometimes on a thursday night for a few bevvies. theres some good lads down there, who are good to have a beer with here n there. n i have always enjoyed playing against them.
and i will do all i can to get OTH back in to the top 4 in div 1 this season. hopefully making a grand final and winning it, thats gotta be the aim for us. but the club is looking after itself mate. dont u worry about us, OTH will be fighting in Div 1 pretty strongly this season i would imagine. not sure in what capacity my involvement will be in that, but youll see OTH coming out strong.
