Is this the same Moose that played full forward for Plympton years ago? I may be wrong on clubs but I've heard tales that he was a handy footballer and my dad lined up against him when he played for Blackwood.

We triple our player payments every year. We let hoppy have his increased 1000% every year.

The two coro sides play for the benson/magarey trophy. which actually involves the whole club rather then just an a grade game. ie every time ramblers play coro it has ramifications for the trophy. the club holding the trophy only has to draw equal the amount of wins to hang on to it. Its named after two very long serving players/administrators/families at both clubs. if memory serves me correctly the magarey its named after still plays b grade! think hes about 70 now or something ;)

Thats the same bloke. Absolute bloody legend.
It is one of my favourite things in life, sitting back very late (or early) at Morphies, having "Staff Drinks" with the likes of Herb Cochrane, Geoff Hardy & Gordy Hay listening to stories about Moose.

As for the newly formed "David Lee" game, surely it would have to be a West End Draught Stubbie, mounted on a steak sandwich, wrapped in black & red ribbon as the trophy. Hopefully it is played game one, the one dayer, at Morphies. As is the norm with round 1, it will be washed out, and the home team wins! Guves us more time to then do this :partyman: :drinkers: \:D/ =))

Haha quality Moe!

I'm looking forward to the Dave Lee Trophy game. I'm looking forward to sending Tubby over the morphy parks club room on the last ball to win the game ;)

The last two years have been cracking games at morphys, and no doubt it's going to be the same again! Can't wait!
