I did but missed it too much. How can you retire when you play cricket with a great bunch of blokes and also get to play against some good guys too. This next 2 weeks is what we play for. Are you going around next year

Just a quick thought...... Does anyone actually like Phantom? F*ck you dribble some absolute tripe.

Anyway. Rose Park to win with big Matty Mouth Ralph hitting a ton and old boy Hendo to take 4fa.

In the 2's, who cares.

Some tips from around the grounds

Smasha: If Rose park win i will never play in the churches comp again
Auto: Do you think my left side is my best side......but how can i diss my right side. Tough being me.
Carey: Whoever turns up with 11 players should win
One ball bandit: Div 1 what’s that?
Smasha: If Para Vista win i will never play in the churches comp again
Hotpies: After a group discussion it was voted 5-1 Rose Park ( 3 of the lads were at Footy training)
Cougar: Didn’t want to pick anyone as he is such a good bloke just hopes everyone has a good game
Pidge: safooty i totally forgot about the forum this year.
Marshall: I'm just honoured you know my name and who i am George.
Pistol: Was mute have not heard boo out of him all year- still the best skipper iv played under
RP skipper: Ill have to check with Reidy and Cougar and get back to you
Bloody bouncer: As long as there is blood on the pitch i'm happy
Rita surprisingly picked the same as Bara
Phantom: I was the last good thing to happen in Churches so who cares who wins
Spintwin: Hopes is a good game, good luck to all- perhaps we can all sing Kumbaya in the tea break
Power Port: Sorry can’t stop and talk normally i have my Saturdays free in mid March to do my lawns this playing cricket is unheard of.
Goat Herder: Back in the early 80’s i was playing a game at a small ground near the city blah blah blah.........
Rolling brothers: Vista they use more hair gel than RP so they deserve our support
Ted : Ask the Exec
Tige : I fell asleep awaiting his response.

For the Grand Finale im tipping the team that bats second UNLESS the team that bats first makes over 220 then i'll back that team to win, the only proviso being that if the team that bats second doesnt bat for less than ten overs on the first day.

Come back and umpire George coz you're sorely missed by the masses, especially your idle threats of violence. ;) That was so much more entertaining than your piss boring literary offerings. :P

Fishing BB..?? Geez mate, how do you manage to fish AND play cricket AND be a highly paid professor of science..?!?? Man, you organization skills must be immaculate!

HAHAH i like it. Except im not really liking the fact everybody spells my last name wrong! Its only ONE 'L'. I think we may have to go with the PV theory and get names on the back of our shirts. Bloody Tom 'Farmers Union Iced Coffee' Kennison has spelt my last name 4 different ways. Surely its not that hard

NEK - Millsy
Fitzroy - *confidential* ;)
