sorry boys the main player of the western youth bulls (yours truly) will not be attending this week as i have a committment to developing our juniors on sunday afternoons into great sheidow park players of the future, its the reason our club is so strong in numbers because of people like me giving their time and effort to turning these kids in to guns 8)

Guys, need a bit of info...

Our C's r playing Woodcroft (section 5), from all reports the games have been a bit 'heated'.

Can anyone give me some info so i can tell the skip what to expect and how to handle it.

Just gets us on the front foot...

no doubt, but it would be handy to have some info for instances where say caught behind descisions might not go thier way etc...

If i can go back to our skip and say 'hey just be aware that they have a history of getting firey if a few descisions get turned down etc etc etc... just be aware of it and don't fuel it etc etc you know what i mean.

was just wondering if there were any that played againstt hem, coz i remember some posts being on here before the break, from all reports just playing 'fairly' didn't quite cut it last game?!? and the game ended in a farce

I was only stirring Jabber  . I think westsider would be the best person to speak to as he played in the game that become a farce. But as you mentioned not fuelling the fire if they ark up about a decision going against them and i would assume for your blokes to go in expecting caught infront of the wicket and bowled as the two modes of dismissal then it should be fine.

Yeah, thats all i expected in section 2 in most of the games for the last twelve years so there's no reason why it should be any different in any lower grades!!

I might make the trip down the street to Mitchell Pk briefly on Sunday. Want to see Robbie Drenthen apply some chin music and then rip thru the WYC lads.

From what I've heard the WYC boys have this already wrapped up. How they may be in for a surprise...

I know what you are talking about there AF  . Yes I did ask your president about when you guys would be available to play the final IF we were to make it. We don't think we have it wrapped up just enquiring when you guys would be available as the next few weekends are busy australia day, association games etc. We do expect the game against Mitchell Pk to be tough especially their bowling attack which can cause plenty of damage.

Very strange request indeed. We have the small task of getting past ICC first.
