Ruffhead wrote:Hmm clearly brain cells are a rare aspect of your family my friend! How can you call it a weak performance, look at the facts.

Fact 1.. You lost
Fact 2.. you were bowled out on the first day for less runs than a primary school side.
Fact 3.. you conceded almost 100 runs per hour, quality bowling!
Fact 4.. Chance to win outright guess what, yep refer fact 1!

It was weak as you had apprently been talking it up here before the day that we were so s***t that it wasn't going to be an issue. That's the problem mate you have pumped yourselves up off the bottom side so good luck in the finals just remember it could have been 3-0 Parkers.

Oh and by the way if your refering to family and brain cells I'm not the one playing for the club situated in northern suburbs.[/quote]

Whats the northern suburbs got to do with it?

I remember playing teams like Wingfield, Woodville and North Pines and if you got called a homo youd be getting off pretty lightly.

It's idiots having a crack at other Clubs and players that gets on The Goat's goat, BB.. ;) Like this tool saying Paralowie didn't have a red hot crack and whining because somebody called somebody a name. For Ablett's sake, harden the you-know what up and take it like a man instead of like a whiney b!tch! Players have been called far worse and still had a beer and a laugh about it at the end of the day. What happens on the field stays on the field. Deal with it or take up lawn bowls! :P

FWC in June, ay?? Giddyup mate, bent sticks all-round on those big sambo's! 8)

We certainly won't be targetting anyone within the Association, that's not our style. ;) This season we managed to add some gems to our Club, so hopefully next pre-season will unearth a few more. However, our season hasn't finished yet and we've got a point to prove. We'll worry about recruiting once the season is over.

I'd love to see a Fitzroy representative join the Exec and put forward some of the sensible suggestions that have appeared in these pages over the last few months. Or at least add some agenda items, attend a meeting or two and rationally discuss them. As Eck' said, everyone is welcome to attend and voicing your opinions on a public website is hardly raising your matters in the appropriate forum. ;) You may not get 100% what you want, but your ideas and thoughts will be taken into consideration. I know quite a few of the suggestions have a lot of backing from at least the members here.

thats because you grab them fresh out of law school with 100k per year jobs on the horizon and offer them champagne, caviar and subway :P

jesus christ....beers with wingfield???? my my phantom. they did have a few good blokes. i hit one guy in the head (no blood), i think his name was rat??, batted on and made a good score too. some tough dudes, but mostly wanks.

North Pines hehe ask trimmer about jaffa....some good guys playing at sandy creek or two well now i think...

Woodville was fun. Herders mate huey was a laugh and a good bat....coulter bowling down leg and hollit with some AMAZING stumpings...that boy could bat too when his eyes werent swollen.

we should get these guys in the churches. that would give the exec something to really think about :P:P
