A lot of people have been sour at Fitzroy since Chad Bourke left. Both in Footy and Cricket and it will take a long time for that club to recover.

definately for the footy mate....but he still has alot of mates in cricket.

I'd say you'd know the area a bit better than me, but we last used it in 92/93, and IIRC, the first home game of that year we had to relocate to Thomas Turner Reserve because they hadn't even removed the dirt from the pitch by the time when we rocked up 1st morning. It was a shocking outfield by memory. Looked like it'd been infested with gophers!

dont seem to handle recieving the sledging? which Fitzroy assoc player (so called batter), gave out some sledging while in the field, then when he batted and got a sledging himself basically cried next to his mummy, also heard another fitzroy player while batting and had no idea how to use a bat took a little bit of sledging to heart and cried to the umpire about it........

You got a fair bit to say about the rep side & the blokes who've got the balls to put themselves up for selection at that level, so assuming that you're all up to the challenge, I look forward to all of your 'personalities' coming out to training next season. Reckon we can fill half the plane tickets to Melbourne...

So how many runs you reckon you'll all combine for in the GF? If the scoreboard is ticking over as quickly as the shit flowing from your collective gobs, we could be in for a record C&CCA score at Casa Da Postage` Stamp.

your majesty, aside from all the bullsh*t i actually think Para Vista will win, they have the experience of winning last 4 grand finals as mentioned on here, full stop they know how to win and they expect it in a gf.

now about coming out for training for the rep side, unforunately ill be too busy fishing!

o geez....im hurting still. very astute DKL. i thought i was over it....

Lets see if u have the kahunas to do somethinig yourself in the GF and make a name for yourself, instead of piggybacking the success of your team mates.

The thing i find really amusing is that alot of the fitzy boys have played against rose park for a long time, its only now, with some success, that a select few decide to flex the forum muscle and have a go. You guys have some quality players and decent blokes, and the last thing you should be doing is trying to discredit your integrity on and off the field. This will ultimately be the measure of success for you club. Nothing worng with being passionate, but when a few of our guys are walking off and saying comments like "unsportman like"......well, you be the judge. And dont ask for example, cos i dont have any. The perception was there, which may be different to fact.

Even if you win the GF, people will remember no doubt. Its how you win the GF that will determine how people will remember RP long term.

Perhaps RP should instill the media ban seen for the Grand Finalists from 2009/2010

Chad had a huge influence on the Fitzroy footy club when he left which will come to a head this season when Glenunga face Fitzroy tho i doubt he had much of an impact on the side when he left for cricket infact the year after he left they played in the grand final.

I think that's the ground at the end of Kingsford Smith Rd which runs off Milne Rd. The Heights school is just up around the corner from it.

Can remember Tippins and Oldman doing all sorts with the ball on the surface. The pitch had that rubber stuff stuck to it

After speaking to a few people I think Fitzroy and you in particular should be the last people to be speaking about being unsportsmanlike! Didn't RP make a sporting declaration a few weeks ago for you guys of which you said you'll do the same to make a game of it and then just decided to keep batting for no reason?

You want to speak about bringing down the integrity of a club then have a look at yourself champ The only one flexing their muscles was you on Saturday and i'm pretty sure you were dealt with accordingly to all parts of the field.

Just out of curiosity where have Rose Park ever mentioned on this forum or on the field for that matter how good they're 'supposedly' meant to be to get this 'arrogance' tag? What is it because I have the odd disagreement with GH which has sparked it? If so grow up like bara has said people are entitled to their opinions and it just so happens that mine differs to the great ones in Goat Herders so move on and stop being parrots

Yeah thats the one im thinking of, I actually drove past it on Tues and its in a horrid state! But apart from that potentially could be a good ground/area for a club..
