Thought like fine wine you got better with age? If your beauty depreciates with age then surely you would be worthless by now!

Maybe Rose Park just need a handy finger spinner :P

You volunteering phantom? They def need a quick, as we all do i guess, well cept Vi$ta.

Will help you out here lads. Rose Parks other opener (who has a few yards on Clarkey) is Jarred Spencer but due to being unavailable for most of the first part of the season, has only bowled once. Hoping he's right to finish off the season now, as with Clarkey they'll be a handy duo. As for a spinner, an old team mate of mine has played one game (vs Ross Smith) and if he plays again will be very handy at this level being an ex State Country player. Unfortunately he has a knee of a 70 year old, and now needs a few weeks off. However we're hoping he's good to go in 2012 but fear his surgeon might have other ideas.

Think Rose Park have showed we're not that far off, as we had 4 starting A graders out on the weekend in our narrow loss to Vista. But with all the close losses we've had all counts for nothing and Saturday's One Day Match against Adelaide Lutheran has considerable bearing on our season. Lose and we're a game and a half out of the four with 3 games to play. Pretty hard to peg back from there.

I think it's fair to say no player has dominated against us with either bat or ball during the season, so it's hard to quote on the opposition we've played. However (I can hear Smasha saying "But....") but Baldo's performance of a ton and 9 for in all in the one match against us was the most dominant performance I've ever seen in a game of cricket!

If i go back to the old Independent Central days there were plenty of players i hated. Absolute meatheads. Remember one well known geezer who threatened to throw the ball at my f***ing head because i gave a run out appeal not out. He then called me a cheat and threatened to club me with his bat when he was batting if i was anywhere near him.
I scored my first ever runs in cricket off this dude, a dab down to third man for two. He called my a wussy for playing a shot like that. He then stood in the middle of the pitch so i ran through him, as you do, then gave him the finger and told him to **** off. I soon learned that this was like a red rag to a bull.

Found some....2 in the one club im not fond of. One of them i call Lleyton coz he carries on like a peanut. The other looks like a sour c*nt.

There are a few i dont respect even tho they make runs, somehow. They are out and out slappers and not good ones but as for technique and temprement they have none whatsoever.
(as opposed to the slappers that do have technique and temprement, ie smasha and bored ;) )
