coming within 3 runs of an outright win against you boys is a weak performance? actually i can believe that after the last time we played you guys.

coming within 3 runs of an outright win is not weak and neither is coming within 1 wicket of an outright win either.

correct there. either way is not a weak performance at all, just thought it was funny that "Ruffhead" was calling the Paralowie performance weak.

It actually sounds like it would have been a good last 2 hours to watch with the game and a spot in the finals up for grabs for both teams depending on what happened in the last couple of overs.

well said bored it was a great game to watch and went down to the wire and kept everybody enthralled.

and yes it is time to move on, the finals start this week best of luck to all teams and may the best team win

Hey Ecky. What is the likelyhood that the Association Committee will even consider our appeal tonight for what has happened?

Just a delagates meeting, but careful, that's where they impose the penelties before telling the clubs. So who knows, if one of the top 4 get deducted points, we might be back in. ;)

the gravity of the consequences of flippant rules (ie. point deductions) are now quite obvious. Not only can teams miss out on finals, but teams can be relegated.

So i guess this means your staying in our comp then. It should be a good Div 1 next year but i think Rose Park will stay up. There is not anyone in div 2 that is capable

I am sure that your appeal will be heard tonight and that the executive will make whatever it believes is the best and fairest decision for all concerned. Of course I cannot say what that decision will be yet!

If people aren't aware, the delegates meeting will be at Adelaide Lutheran Clubrooms starting at 7:30 tonight. This is where the draw for the finals and umpire allocations etc. will be finalised and handed out to clubs.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
