Well Rose Lakes proved me wrong in the semi final.

I'm getting on the Mawson Park lads to win the big one for a few reason:

1. They beat Smasha Knights
2. I love their arrogance
3. They do have O'Gorman
4. I'm sick of PV winning

This is after Lutheran teams have won 18 of the last 21 A-Grade Grand Finals.

Your pulling something if you think that is even slightly relevant or interesting.

ooook then...

to guarantee a RP premiership the solution is simple - drop the riddler and O'Gorman!! They just cant perform on the big stage ;)

Have you even seen Rose Park play this year oh great one? The fact you still call their oval a postage stamp suggests you haven't. Why? Have you pushed the boundary markers out more than 40m from the bat recently??

I like your reverse psychology though by trying to put ALL the heat on Rose Park and not Para Vista by comparing Vista to the powerhouse football clubs in the state, genius stuff ;) Tell me when will Vista apply to join the Grade Cricket comp? That will be never, peanut. You've obviously have never experienced that kind of success, so it's pointless trying to explain it in simpleton terminology so that you might possibly grasp the concept. ;)

Is this player who will make this game his own a little left handed opening batsman who plays in your association side? If so i'm sure the opposition are well aware of him and will be doing all they can to stop not only him but 10 of his team mates too. Can't ever recall saying it was a batsman..?? Also wasn't aware that I owned the Association side either? Interesting...

If you ever manage to find the spuds to step out and post under your real username instead of this schitzoid group handle, let me know. ;)

Cheers PG for the Kiss of Death! :)

Look a lot that is posted on here is banter which is all good fun, but in all seriousness I think the 2 Reidy’s deserve a lot of applause for the rise of the RPCC. Two years ago, Rose Park competed in the Div 2 Grand Final against Western X1 and lost. Last year, we won only 3 games for the season (2 of those against the now defunct and winless Ross Smith) and no one would have predicted we’d end up where we are now. George and Brenton have done a lot of recruiting and at the same time, make all that join feel welcome at the RPCC. Whilst this season has been a very good one for Rose Park CC, it will be a great one if we win this last game, but I think it’s fair to say that no one is under any illusion it will be easy against Para Vista. You don’t win 4 flags in a row by chance. People can write or have opinions on RPCC, but I’m sure the 2 Reidy’s are pretty proud of where it stands now, to where it did 2 years ago.

Banter on People :)

good luck saturday mate, the two sides that should be there are there .
both sides have strong points and both have weaknesses, will come down to who plays better on the day and thats all.
would be a good hard fought game either way I hope......
good luck to VISTA AND ROSE PARK, may the better side on the day win.

BOO !!

Good evening trend setters. Been hearing alot about this forum from my mates, so id thought id check it out. Nice to see PG, GH,O2, SMASHA, and AUTO (who still sux) leading the ranks here.

Its been some interesting reading, just quitely, and good to see some new antagonists surface. Welcome.

Rose lake/park/edge whatever you want to call them have done the trick. I dont know GH, but having played independant central since 1993, i dont think these guys were ever competitive. They have always been fringing div1/div2 in churches, but this year have recruited very well indeed. Time will tell with these fellas - there is some talent there (and alot of assumed talent). The question is IF they win the GF,WILL they all play again ??? Our first and only div1 flag saw a mass exodus and retirements !!

The problem with rose park is an unfounded arrogance. Not yet guys, win the flag then get all cocky. No one remembers minor premiers.....

My tip is that there will be a big punch up on the ground V paravista. These are both teams that love to sledge, but dont seem to handle receiving it well. Rose park seem to complain on here about the sledging received too......wow, come on chaps.

My suggestion is to bring OGorman as 12th man on for the key wickets of the vista chaps. My advice for vista is to bring on Krafty for some devestation early.....use him wisely guys, his energy is exhausted very quickly with the furious action and threatening spin he exerts.

Good luck to all teams in all finals. Lets hope next year people are serious about the carnival and get behind GH to build a solid team. Lets also hope the exec have come up with a solution to keep the comp alive - will be interesting to hear them deliver the future plans that the sub committee has been working on???

keep on trucking . toot toot !

well since everyone is putting there 2 cents in, i might as well too!

you cant go past Para Vista, look they have won the last 4 grand finals, they have gun batters and their bowling stocks are spread all over, Marshall is a gun with the bat and the ball, he is the best player in the comp along with Smith, Hoddson. Their sooky captain is a great player too and no how to play finals, you cant go past Vista, they should be the red hot favorites even if they finished second, they will win and if they dont with the players that have and all of the experience then i will be surprised. Rose Park or whatever there called have done well to finish top and be competetive from previous season ive seen or played against them.

Para Vista are the cream of the crop and they will win, should be unbackable odds!

BB when you say Rose Park are arrogant, can you give me a example of this? I've played a few games this season and don't recall seeing it?
