Suggest there would be a few players not wanting to be struck anywhere near the pads.

Wrong.

Must agree with you there under the pack, have been extremely happy with numbers so far and its been a long time little angaston has had someone like zanotti come of the street and want to find a cricket club, bout time we had some luck. Doesn't bowl a bad leggie aswell, little bit excited by it all. Bring on october 8th. =)

Is this the lad working at the stud, good pick up if true. Believe he played state country for Victoria and younger sibling of Mark.

Any updates on the Ins and outs for clubs now that its getting closer to the season?
And are many clubs having trial games this season?? I think Sandy is trying to get a game against Trinity or Riverside.

Not sure of the question Maiden, but they are playing in our A4 division which is all one day games. Hopefully the club can sort things out and get up to the big league sooner than later. They will play Tanunda, Kapunda, Freeling, Lyndoch, Gawler Centrals, Nuriootpa & Greenock

Correct Duke, I think he is a strapper out there. He is biting at the BIT to have a hit with us.

J.McCafferty from pooraka to centrals, is he any good?

Also a big surprise with John Lienert seeking a clearance to nuri, he will fit into their bowling attack nicely but i imagine there will be some rumblings from a few of the local bowlers that already dont get a bowl

We looked at getting him for last season but he turned us down due to travelling and other reasons. Hes a handy bat, didnt do much last year but he will go ok. As for JL thats a massive pick up for Nuri, just when you think they might get a bit weaker with Doeks and AP getting a bit older, they chuck in another bowler that consistently hits spots ball after ball. Poor Wardy will be spewing

Think Jono Gerhardy will be the one spewing more, he wasnt impressed last season, could be a target for other clubs??
