relegation looks that little bit closer now for craigmore with their main batsmen out of the side. craigmore a club in crisis?

Think they will be safe from relegation, they have plenty of others capable on contributing..

however imagine if Trav went to ATCO and they managed to stay up.. Parker, Gebauer, Osbourne, Childs, Galpin, D'Antonio, Watsford and Kowald.. makes for a competitive looking lineup with a year of Grade 1 experience under their belts ALA Central United 2012-2013

Imagine he went to OTH. Add his batting to the already strong line up of scott, hanisch, mcnair, neil, fantasia and a.smith....

Three keepers. Adam walter, battin at 7 i think has done plenty of keeping over the years. Although as a club we always seem bowler heavy. Both nixon and lister, both bowled plenty of overs in div 1 are sat in the B grade this game... so theres a bit of depth there too

Not to mention P.Neil who tends to rip through the R&C extra extra lower order (PG) ... haha

Serious heat this bloke, unplayable! Angles out, swings in, dips, ducks, weaves, cuts out SMASH stumps fly!

If you see him remind him he still owes us a new bail for to replace the one that he destroyed with his fierce bowling

Well i reckon theres only 2 possibilities. One being that dobbo gets in his ear n sorts him out n he stays at craigmore. His brother plays there along with the old man. Plus his mum is pretty heavily involved. The family has very strong ties with the club.

Or if he still decides to leave after the dust settled over this, i seriously doubt it would be to another pdca club. After speaking with him, and gently trying to persuade him to make the trip up the hill, he seems pretty set on going out to play turf cricket next season

But who knows, once it all settled n the emotions die down from all this he may see sense n may be playing for craigmore again before the season is out

Most wickets that fall in cricket are from batsmen getting themselves out. Its rare that a batsmen is genuinely undone by an unplayable delivery to get them out.

As a bowler ya just have to put the ball in the right areas, build some pressure n hope that happens. N every now n again out of ur hand comes one of those deliveries ya dream of and theres nothing a batter can do

Still surprised to see the captain, someone who was described to me the other day as the best bat the units had seen, come in so low. Chasing a low total, end of the day, bit of a top order wobble i would have thought it was a time when the captain shud stand up n take responsibility. Go in, steer the ship with a captains knock

And your not wrong. The game is not over, heavily in the goats favour, but until those 2 wickets drop it isnt won. Its a funny game of ebbs and flows

Haha Sensationalist journalism... lol a club in crisis.. do you think your Col Rundle writing in the papers?
PS: remind me to never have a personal chat on facebook with you.
PSS: Hope that "genital rash" that you asked for advice on Dr. Phil's facebook page about has stopped the swelling and are again able to use that pistachio shell as a box again.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

As you get older and your reflexes deteriorate, there are more important things than winning the game like hiding down the bottom and protecting your batting average and reputation :D

Dont you worry i will definitely remind. Have no doubts about that one :)

Seems like i hit a nerve at some point. No need to throw dirt. Everything i said is true. Trav has quit the club, he told me. And i simply asked a question if craigmore were a club in crisis... and your straight on the defensive. Given your reaction, the fact that your now into the last 3 games of a season fighting against relegation with obvious unrest amongst players with one player (who happens to be by far n away your best bat) walking out on the club.... my journalism may not be quite so sensationlist after all, maybe ive hit the nail on the head n some may call my journalism simply sensational :D

Careful not to throw the toys out of the pram with your reply there maxxy. Another dummy spit on your behalf could lead to a playing ban. I hear craigmore are a bit strict on that these days :)

:D thankyou young fellas for your kind thoughts  , as you get older you do lose your reflexes , speed ,stamina, eyesite ,mullet, bladder control and other skills and there are more important things for club development than having to rely on a 45 yo old timer playing his 1st game in 10 weeks to see out 17 overs, at our club we have guys bursting for the chance to bat and take some responsability, we had volunteers eager to go in, as it turns out, fl2fl doesnt mention that i did actually bat, went in at the fall of the 6th wicket..as i probably have done the majority games i have played in the last 10 years or so , and i am still in.......... stranger things have happened......................... round 2 vs atco batting at 7 ;) ..... hope you boys are still rolling your pies out at 45 ......
