Matthew Clifford has been keeping.. and very well.

T.Gabuer pulled out late on the Saturday about 3pm and Bill Fuller tried to contact a few keepers to no avail so Fanta put his hand up.

Fanta was solid as usual with the gloves and robbed of a stumping.

Who will keep for Craigmore this week with no Gebauer? Can they get a replacement fielder?

If they have to bat again they will effectively be 1 down already, dangerous times!

How much will the loss of Gebauer affect the side?

J. Carmen opening the batting, the way he hits the ball and having seen the Craigmore bowling, he could well lead Angle Vale to an upset in this one..

If people are so mistaken then please, don't let fear hold you back fill us in on the facts then - or are you on a media ban?

Justifying yourselves might be good, because at the moment Craigmore's name is mud amongst other clubs.. unless of course you're worried the truth will only serve to make yoy look silly and become a laughing stock?

Good work to the PDCA getting over the line today. I think atca should maybe put more research into the teams when coming up against a team on hard wicket... U have blokes who have recently come off hard wicket and now in turf who genuinely know how to bowl and bat on hard wicket. They also know how to get blokes out after playing them for years in the PDCA. It is a different thing if you are going to play on turf on the day but playing on hard wicket is a different story. Some thinking wouldn't have been a bad idea ATCA may have won then

I'm no longer involved in the club however from the information I have heard this is not the first incident to have taken place this year and I firmly believe that if they requested Travis not to play on Sunday, and have placed a suspension on him, they have done the right thing. The coach is reasonable but firm and will not tolerate continued ill-discipline. No one player is bigger than any club and I believe the club is making this statement to it's playing group! The details of the incident do not need to be posted on this forum as they are an internal matter and it should be dealt with as such. It is unfortunate there was an impact on the association side however I'm sure if Bill was to speak with Scott, being a fellow club coach he would support Scott and the club with any decision they make. The club should be congratulated for taking this sort of stance.
