Our problem is with association making the call that one of our player was turned down for a permit having played 2 B grade, 4 C grade and 1 D grade. Yet other clubs has a player play 8 B grade games and was not required to get a permit for him to play in D grade. This our problem not the clubs.

So anyway crow man, will you be doing a KRudd and challenging for the leadership next year, or stepping aside with whatever dignity you've got left? Certainly would be difficult looking your fellow Exec's in the eye after threatening that over-the-top course of action, that's for sure. :? ;)

I will have no problem looking them in the eye, because I know what has been going on

Stupid AND stubborn. :? Dangerous combo.

Only one course of action remains then. Which, of course, would happen if ANY Board member threatened legal action against the 'company' and/or his fellow Board members. ;)

OBB you need to take a good hard look at your coments. Maybe you should try and win enough games to play finals. As you have see with the results in div 2 anything can happen.

Player A – Played 5 A Grade games, 4 B Grade games and 1 D Grade games, under the interruption is able to play in D Grade because games in the lower Grades (B and D) is equal the games played in the A Grade and the fact the team from B Grade and D Grade are still playing. Team from A missed out on finals.

Player B – Played 8 B Grade games, because B Grade and D Grade teams still in finals, can play in D Grade without permit due to interruption of rule. A Grade team didn’t make finals.

Player C – Played 2 B Grade games, 4 C Grade games and 1 D Grade game. Due to our interruption of the rule, we believe that he required a permit to play in D Grade team. We applied for permit and it was not granted, based on performance and number of game in higher grades. B Grade team didn’t make finals. So this player played 5 games in the lower Grades, which was more than the higher Grade, but couldn’t play in the D Grade team.

We have no problem with what the clubs of Player A and B did, as they got told that was ok to do.

Our problem comes with not being told that Player C could have, based on the interruption for Player A and B, played in the D Grade, yet we got told he couldn’t.

Isn’t that a double standard!!!!!!!

We asked to have this explained, how it seems to be 2 different rulings for the same thing. Which we still have not got a response for?

And it was the Association that went to a lawyer, to get clarification, and after that we got advice from a lawyer to make sure that we hadn’t got our wires crossed and that we were within the rules, so how does that get deemed as taking legal action.

So can someone explain why we shouldn’t ask for clarification from the Permit Committee, (Not the Exe), because all we are asking for is an even playing field when it comes to the rules.

And this was done during the week 1 and week 2, not after the game.

i.ll also go on the record as saying i believe adam gully is arguably the best bowler in the comp. And before peeps begin dropping names as to who is better, take into account his representative history and the fact he is playing in a side with NO support! Chuck him in a team with a good bowling team where all the pressure isn't on him he would stand out greater

carey wrote:Well as must have heard the best 2 teams during the year in Div2 werent good enough on the day in finals therfore the Div 2 GF will be Adel Luth v Para Vista.

At the end of the day we did'nt deserve to win. We bowled terribly with the exception of Shannon Solton but to let a side hit near 300 against your making it very hard for your self.

As for our batting well after 1 ball we were 1 for 0 then at drinks 13 overs 1/90 and get bowled out for under 200 just is not good enough. Boxhead opened with a good 64 Sparre at 3 was also very good for near 50 and the rest well the less said the better.

But well done to Luth and Vista on your GF hope all goes well.

With 2 B grade sides playing in the big dance who goes up?

Surly Magill premiers last year and minor premiers this year.

Nah mate Methos are too mentally weak to play Div 1, PV B grade will be come PV A 2's

You mean was one of the best bowlers! He's retired now.
I agree with you though, one of the best, probably the most consistent in terms of line and length. Definitely quicker blokes running around but none of them have the control he has. IMO that is, don't want to upset anyone. ;)

Adam always wants (sorry wanted) to be the 'HERO'. Bowl at the tail to get a bag. Bat at 9 when he prob should bat at 6/7, to hit the winning runs. He lives (sorry lived) for the pressure. As Ben10 says " its hero time ".
