U could text each delegate from Div 1 and 2 to enquire if their top players were available and i bet u would have around 10 names. I know Matt Hargreaves and Shane Brown from our club are keen and in good form but were not asked and Im sure other clubs are the same

Two blokes from R&C were asked and 1 from OTH but they declined, so others were asked

i will give it to sewlly for always putting up his hand whether its to captain cause no one else wants to, or to play cause no one else wants to... good on him i say.. if there were more blokes who had that commitment we wouldnt have this debate come assoc games...

So me not knowing the side was going to be filled without me calling is stupid? Also the fact that i wasnt provided with anyones number who was there makes me stupid too? Dare say with all the phone calls they made on sunday they could have taken 5 secs to give me a buzz. .

But you could not talk on your phone. "You were driving". Virgina had to make a call and get one of their own to play because you were driving. It’s like Work Groover does your boss call you when you’re running late or do you give them a call to let them know you are running a bit late. That’s why you got sacked from the side mate. Common sense it will get you places.

As i said minnow i had noones number that was there to call, and yes if they called me and it went to msg bank because i was "driving" then yes i would have accepted that, but no such effort was put in to make that an excuse. Also if i did have anyones number the fact that i got told to arrive before 10:30 in which i did would have never made me think to call because i was "late".

where would you pull that from coka! absolute rubbish!! i can say ive had the chance to play in both pdca bl&g and pdca would smash ne of bl&g best eleven! definately would not be too strong at all! very silly call!!!

would be good but very one sided, dont think there would be many guys that could handle the likes of J. Vandeleur and i think the batting would be too strong with the guys they have in the side

More one sided than PDCA v ATCA ?

In fact I do remember reading the B&L comp was stronger than ATCA......outrageous.

i think a B&L vs ATCA game would be one sided OZ, so no it wouldnt be more one sided than ATCA vs PDCA. The top players in B&L i think are of a higher calibre than the PDCA. The likes of Boh Wall, Craig Reimann, Brett Lydeamore, James Vandeleur, Rob Johnson, Craig Hosking and also guys like Anthony Prior and Dan Doecke would be too strong. Just my opinion

Brookes, McNair, Neill all deserve to be in the team IMO.

think its beyond "deserving" to be in the side when you talk about the assoc side, you gotta WANT to play and from what i hear no one wanted to
