At least yesterday's game has generated a bit of interest, discussion and action on here after a very boring period of late.

Think it goes to show that representative cricket does indeed still have a place in the game, just a matter of finding the right format and timing i think. It's good to generate these rivalries and be able to claim bragging rights over one another.

Perhaps just a one off game each year? The SAMCA T20 also kills bit of interest, especially if you progress through the rounds.

Sunday cricket is tough and isnt ideal either but unless associations were willing to schedule bye rounds it wont change.
