They couldnt be bothered with an outright?

When you havent lost a game and are at least two games clear and have top spot stiched up why bother going for an outright - might as well have a hit - allows the bowlers to dip into the esky a bit earlier than usual ;)

Yeah, them powerades are refreshing after a hot day.

dont think Westies would have many of them in there - perhaps a couple for Griggs ;) after his marathon scoring efforts each week

maybe they thought it would be funny to see you turn up, then break your heart with the bad news, watch you throw another tanty and go home

Apparently groover rocked up to play and told not selected - prob fair enough given his last game performance but prob a phone call would have been the right thing to do but of more interest is who came into the side. Have a look at the top 20 batsmen on the run scorers. Maybe it would be one of them. No. Someone who couldnt even make his own teams one day side.

honestly why would you rock up if you didnt get a phone call to say you were playing??
to me that sounds like someone was just expected to be picked??

Groover isn’t it common sense to make a phone call when you’re running late. I heard that they delayed as long as they could to see if you rocked up.
Would have been an interesting game if PDCA had a full strength team on the park.
But hey it would have been no match if ATCA had a full team on the park.

I got a giggle from it Catchit. Not as much as hearing about you kicking a can down rundle mall and doing your ankle. Juddy was all over it.

U could text each delegate from Div 1 and 2 to enquire if their top players were available and i bet u would have around 10 names. I know Matt Hargreaves and Shane Brown from our club are keen and in good form but were not asked and Im sure other clubs are the same

Two blokes from R&C were asked and 1 from OTH but they declined, so others were asked
