He only named 11 instead of 12 (So it was just forgetting to write the name down). As a section 1 captain i would not stop a player from playing just because his name was left off the team sheet. The bloke has played every week this year and imo poor form from the opposition!

Look, i think that full stop you have to play by the team sheet given no matter what grade you are playing. i am agree that it is a simple and harmless mistake, nonetheless. the rules need be applied. as was our verbal teamsheet, that would be different if i had spoken to the captain before the game about the 12th man stuff. would easily allow that if not written down as long as i had spoken to the oppposing skip first. Stiff s**t about your other skip to not name a team sheet or talk with the other skip (if that happened). I know as a sec 1 capt that i would totally enforce any f**k up made by an opposing captain on a team sheet and without verbal confirmation particularly that of one that bats good too. sorry sheidow lads but just what i recon. (ps 5.45 in morn, show me what red wine). meow

What would happen if your A grade side didnt play the first week of a game as in our case this game and had to play a one dayer the 2nd week, and all the other grades in your club played, and 1 of your players pulled out during the week, where do you draw a player from? I know if you were playing 2 day match and he pulled out you would have to play 1 short, but its a different situation.
