Played Eastside, I'm not suprised at all about the alcohol. Think it might be a problem each week.

As for the unregistered player, lets make it clear he has been a Fitzroy player for the last 5 or 6 years on and off and never played at another club.

All players are registered (in our case) by email, is email 100% safe? 3 match points is very harsh for something we were notified about after he had played 4 games.

Let me add, if we had been notified of the error after the first game played as an unregistered and it took us another 3 games to rectify the error due to our slackness I would agree with the penelty, but I dont agree when you first get told after he had already played 4 games.

When i went out to bat with Frithy they had all but 2 players on the fence. was a joke of a field. they then pulled a injured player who had to be swapped. they then had a bowler who lost his run up twice. remember it goes on time. Dont say we played to draw.

if rose park won, maybe u were scared of finishing last...might have been on the mind of some folk ???just a thought....unlikely as it is.

the scary thing is, if RP won 2nd innings, fitzroy would have finished last !!!!!

Let me add, if we had been notified of the error after the first game played as an unregistered and it took us another 3 games to rectify the error due to our slackness I would agree with the penelty, but I dont agree when you first get told after he had already played 4 games.

Boys by the ladder you blokes are in. So unless it gets changed for some reason we are not playing. Do u have to regiester every player every year in this comp?. Would be a bit better to be told after the first week if u have done something wrong

By the sounds of it mate they need to sit down and work out the rules and then have a meeting with everyone at each club and tell them the rules

Arab, he filled out a form before he played the first game, but somehow it did not make its way to the Associaition. Not pointing the finger at anyone, mistakes happen, but the penelty does not fit the crime.

Apparently you do (have to register the same player every year). In a perfect world you would like to be notified straight away, but we understand we are all volunteers, but then don’t take away points if the club had not been notified about it. What if we have not been notified after 10 matches, you lose 10 points?
