I thought you might have been referring to Doubleday from Keswick. Perhaps not the best batsman the comp has seen, but in over 200 games of cricket I dont think I have seen a more consistent striker of the ball.

the one you speak of is a gun... very talented individual, but not who i was talking about... love to see who would be in top 5 or 10 of all time in ASCA...

I'd be biased and have Knowles and Press from WYC in my top 5.

C Hawes you could add, and Jim Hinson, in Plympton's first two years Jim had averages of 98 and 99, which i doubt will ever be beaten at PFCC...

Ron Myall best cover drive i've ever seen.

but that is exactly what S. Pitt was? how can you say he coulda played state cricket when he maybe played 3-4 district games as a junior? S. Pitt is the biggest under achiever with the bat in the association.

S. Krutli
S. Peek
D. Marsh
S. Dunn
J. Williams
G. Dwiar
P. Abbott
A. Rossi
P. Jeffery (easily the best, most professional batsman i have seen)
H. MacKay
S. Pitt
R. Hopkins
B. Kearsley

Keswick have beaten Calderbank, err Ramblers on the first day. Ramblers 111 KCC 4/130 or somethin.
