is this going to be the appointment that sees craigmore into grade 1, seems to have the professional attitude to get them there, just will the players themself be good enough to get them up, will have to wait and see. But a good move i will admit

Nothing of any great note, it was a bit disappointing. 25 metre circles for the one-dayers though, Dublin voted in to grade 56 & under 14's.

No Playford, Wasleys or Elizabeth East present, apparently Playford wont be fielding sides.

Hopefully Dublin gets a bit of water onto there ground before the season starts, from what ive seen when ive worked in dublin, its not a very happy looking paddock, i think its the twin brother of wasleys reserve, these councils out there surley need to have a look at themselve, with locals not having a half decent ground to use, no wonder they head into doing mischevious things. Playing out at dublin would be a great fixture to get, the pub out there is first class.

I've stolen this from the ASCA thread but it seemed like a good idea during the quiet period. A bit of a survey for the PDCA:

Best Oval: Smithfield Oval.
Worst Oval: North Pines.
Best Clubrooms: Smithfield.
Favourite opposition to have a beer with after the game: Most of them.
Team you love to beat: Salisbury West.
Player you'd love to steal from another club: Jimmy Mc.
Favourite umpire: Alf & Pete.
Most memorable match: Losing a semi by 1 run vs Willaston in 95/96, we were 1/76 overnight chasing 131.
Favourite moment: Winning 03/04 Grand Final.
Funniest moment: Watching a kangaroo go bouncing across the pitch at Parafield Gardens during play & Shaun Maguire (keeper) come running out of the TAB @ Smithfield Hotel as I was about to start my run up after tea.
Most respected opponent(s): Kingy (Gawler Cent), Bruce Gniel (Willaston) & Stamma (TW & Rosies).

I felt the same way, we were cruising but it didn't have that final wicket or final run where you got that winning feeling, I couldn't feel happy until the Parafield Gardens lads left, they didn't get a chance to claw their way back into it.
I was lucky enough to play in 4 premierships between 03 & 10, the 03/04 one was the best.

Geez the clubs had a bit of success over the last 8 years. hopefully season 11/12 brings us some more. Should have just had beer after the 09/10 GF, dont know who brought the spirits, but they knocked me for 6 and out after id been filling my own cup for much of the night. atleast you know what alcohol content is in the beer can.
