I don't think Noarlunga will end the SCA.
They might choose to play somewhere else though and that rumour comes up every year for the past 3 years.

If Noarlunga pull the pin, what will the Cockledivers do?? Great Southern or Adelaide Suburban.

Kangarilla, Flagstaff to Hills league??

Word on the street Hound is that Port players favour going to A&SCA but it still needs to be voted on properly and only if Noarlunga pull the pin, which by the sounds of it is looking likely if accepted by the GSCA.

I believe Noarlunga's meeting with GSCA was along the lines of "if SCA ceased, would Noarlunga be able to join GSCA?"

I've been told Noarlunga voted favourably to apply to join the GSCA and Noarlunga have informed the SCA about their intentions.

Surely with all this talk at the moment, that would sound the death nell for SCA?

I know there are 5 clubs in A Grade but are there any clubs in the lower grades that might want to join ASCA that might slip into Sections 2/3?

And what would be the prefered option of the current A Grade clubs ASCA/HCA/GSCA if 1 or 2 clubs did move on?

At least they have informed the SCA unlike Cove last year.

It will be a shame if SCA does disband.

Sounds like The Shoes are doing the right thing by informing the SCA, if indeed they are certain they want to leave which it sounds like they do.
I think the seniors comp will disband but the SCA will still run a junior comp.

From A Grade I think Port and Morphett Vale (less than a km from ICC Sharks might put them off) will go A&SCA.
Shoes and Seaford GSCA
kangies - GSCA or Hills
Flaggies - maybe same comp as Happy Valley ?

b Grade - Same as above

C Grade - Hamilton and Ahmadiyya probably lower grades in A&SCA along with Port and Morphies ???

Only my guesses though

What happens to these clubs if said associations (GSCA/A&SCA) say no?

Couldn't see to many associations saying no to clubs coming in from another association, it only helps to strenghten that association. Cove to A&SCA this year is a prime example.

Only Noarlunga are looking to leave, so if the GSCA say we don't want you, they either stay in the SCA or look at other options.
Port (I believe) will only look at leaving if the SCA disbands.

I think last year they were known as Internationals, and had some sides in the A&SCA as well.

OK, yes we have the Adelaide Indians CC, and the international CC...

Needed a few head ache tablets after playing the AICC, they are a chirpy little bunch, couldn't understand one word of it tho...

Ahmadiyya have no connection to ICC from what i have heard. They have a decent side that may do alright in Div 4 Adelaide Suburban. Problem is they dont have a home ground so i dont how that would go down with the ASCA committee should they apply to play in that comp.

Whos back did we go behind? last season we werent going anywhere...the year before last we looked at going but decided against it but the SCA committee were made aware of our intentions...We wouldnt have done a Cove and just skulked off in the off season. And why would Cove want to come back to SCA?
