Very quiete on here latley. Any other results from the weekend ? Sandy easy winners over Gilbert Valley. GB batting one important man short didnt help them. Into the one Dayers next week then a 20 20 the week after. We have Gawler Centrals , Should be interesting. Playing against one of our ex players.
Back to the creek it is.

i believe sandy lost their 1st game 2day, are the wheels starting to fall off now we hasve hit the one day period????
ango smashed by nuri, were bowled out for 80
think the 20/20 this week might favour ango over sandy if ango can bat their full 20 overs which is no guarentee on current form!!

yes we did suffer our first loss, a fair copitulation aswell, most of our batsmen failed and our bowling wasnt up to scratch too many loose balls that went to the boundary. GC started very well bowled good lines and very sharp in the field then followed up with the bat. Good test for us definately and we will be looking forward to playing them in the two dayers

ando defeated sandy 8/133 - 9/109
was a great atmosphere there with the 20/20 double header, a nice size crowd inspiring the boys to a big win to keep the season alive.
fuller was lookinig great before being run out by one of the most selfish pieces of cricket seen for a long time for 30, mind u days gave a massive boost to 2 fellow posters dropping james 07 for what wouldve been a 1st ball duck and norm.
i think the panic button may have well and truly been pushed by the cockies, 2 losses in a row have lost top spot and held a long meeting on the ground after the game, even heard a whisper training has now been scheduled for new years eve, now thats commitment!!
my 1st look at them and they seemed very professional, well decked out in their coloured pants and tops and an hour long warm up before the game had the more casual ango lads mystified, at the end of the day u have to do the business on the field ;)

Managed to drop in and catch the Ango innings, unfortunately missed out on watching Sandy Creek's own Bradman bat. Although Norm looked sharp at short cover.
Obviously Ango's fielding warm ups under Burgess Junior haven't advanced since S Koch was at the helm.
I was shocked to see James is a Robbie Johnson cloan, thought he was off the long run.

I'm guessing Gav 'Teddy Werner was batting with him looking at the scorecard (suprised to see Gav batting top 4), but given the insinuation that it was selfish I'm thinking Gav has turned his back on Fuller and let him get run out.
