Not a bad days work. Not too many people can gloat about taking a 10fa. Has only happened once in 50 years at our club IIRC.

Ah ok i thought i remembered him taking a 10 fa must have been a 9 fa. I know Hopkins has done that for us once or twice as well in the a's.

I remember a player from Plympton taking a section 1 10fa was it Wilson?

Except when you make 5/614 off 60.

Mr Roper must be annoyed. Averaging 88 in 3 games and still can't get an E grade (section 5) game.

Haha I think Mr Roper is more annoyed he keeps getting the call Thursday nights asking him to keep playing.

I'm assuming they have lost the most wickets as well.

lost most wickets, taken 2nd fewest wickets and had 2nd most runs scored against! To add to TL, have batted a 2nd innings in rounds 2, 4, 5 and 8 which might account for the runs....

Coromandel Ramblers v Keswick

Huge game for the ramblers to ensure they control their own destiny. I think keswick will get up in a close one.

Western Youth Centre v Sheidow Park

Big game for the sheidow boys a win certainly keeps the ramblers on their toes but a loss would make it difficult but not impossible to still sneak into 4th spot.

Glenelg ANA v South Road

Can't see the bays dropping two in a row. Think A Hartlett may only be available one week as well. Sth Rd have showed their good is good enough they just need some consistency.

Morphettville Park v Coromandel

Is M Thomas back at Morphies? He would certainly have an impact on the outcome of this game. The loser makes it very hard for themselves to make the finals. Coromandel by a wicket.

ICC Sharks v Westminster Old Scholars
ICC will be to strong i feel. Don't think either side will make the finals so not a game others will be to worried about.

Plympton Footballers v North Haven

Plympton's last roll of the dice for a finals spot should see them get over the line but not by much.

Thoughts?

Best Morphies figures is our only 10fa. Chris Lowe 10/44 back in 99/00 Section 3. I played that game as well, was a pretty special thing to watch.

Puzzle definitely took a 9 fa bloods. It is in the handbook aswell, but i remember who took the other wicket aswell. Thought you would remember, Matt Fairley took it!

Think he finished with 9/44 IIRC!

And our Ds had 11 batsmen and no bowlers in the first half of the season. Were making 300 and losing. Now they're batting twice and losing by more :?

I have to applaud the way south road played in the last game against the ramblers, what deserves more applause is the way both teams enjoyed a beer after the game and had a chat about cricket. first time its happened all year and it was a very welcome change. congrats should go to barney on taking 4 for 17 off 11 overs, and then breaking down with a bad back! haha, if only he had that before he started bowling we may have stood a chance!!

We had a beer with the glenelg boys after our game before xmas and again this weekend with the Nth Haven guys. It would be good if we could do it every week.

Association record is 10/18 by L.Maskell from South Rd, he also holds the record for best figures in a match 19/46 in the same game in 1953/54.
