Rosies vs Vale Season shaping game

How so? :?

It is a 50/50 game and could set up either teams season and go along way to finishing in the top 2 for the winner. Vale will want to bounce back after going down to Westies and another loss to a premiership contender could harm them mentally, so probably more a season shaping game for Vale than Rosies. Just my thoughts from afar.....

Just discovered that our insurance is a fair joke, they don't cover surgery, infact they cover very little. What a waste of money.

I know for a fact the SACCA insurance covers dental surgery. Does your comps insurance cover that? When you say it covers very little, what does it cover?

Think you'll find most insurance policies in most sports/assoc are very piss poor. With our rugby league policy, it costs players something like $160 per season and is compulsory, but doesnt cover surgery, only covers wages up to 70% i think it is and is capped at only a couple thousand.

I think insurance should be up to the individual whether they get it or not, and if they choose not to then sign a waiver. Some people also have their own private insurance anyway.

Physio, dental & doctors. Most people would go to a doctor that bulk bills anyway. Doesn't cover surgery.
When you do the online registration it gives you a few case study's that you have to answer that make you believe that it is actually worth something, when it comes time to lodging a claim it isn't worth a pinch of shit and from what I've heard from other clubs they do their utmost to avoid paying out, one was rejected because a match-day checklist hadn't been filled out.
We will be asking to be exempt from the associations insurance policy next season and looking at getting personal cover for those interested, surely the costs wouldn't be great considering the amount of injuries that occur during cricket.
The injury in question was sustained while someone was batting and they didn't get hit by the ball either. I wonder how Andy Skelland is going from another bizarre injury a couple of weeks ago.
