Report it if its the same guy or not.
Funny thing happened last time we played them. When we bowled i " encouraged" their
young captain to play a shot. Later on i was talked to by the umpire who told me it wasnt
very nice to try and embarass the young man.
the next week one of their bowlers said " dont make me come over their and knock your
"f" in head off your "f"in shoulders, the same umpire just laughed![]()
He's a good captain but he doesnt have control of some of his teamates that probably
need to be moved on.....

It's basically a lack of respect for the game itself and your opponent, which is just bullshit.

Otherwise, if the sledging is amusing or non-personal, and you're worried about what they're saying and not what you supposed to be concentrating on, that'd be mission accomplished I reckon.

not a good day with the bat from us but thats cricket, we normally do that in the first final.
so hopefully we have put that curse to rest and play to our full potential in the prelim.
back to MR MARSHALL........SECOND BALL DUCK , caught and bowled by a diving (haha) baldo......
revenge is sweet sometimes.
now they need 31 to win and we need 4 wickets for less than that ........will be a good finish whoever wins.
really bad shots played by both teams .
in defence of the hair machine model Richard Marshall, yes it may seem like he got a bit of pie in his face on the weekend.
However I think scoring 120 odd in a grand final against your mob on its own qualifies the bloke to be able to say what he wants, let alone the fact he backed up the year after with 60 odd in the grand final against roys. Fair to say he's got the runs on the board to compared to the blokes he was dishin it out to. As I wasn't there, can you confirm that the bloke he was giving stick to was Gatt? From what I've been told by guys that played smasha the feeling from both teams is that it felt like both teams didn't really care, that the game was just a formality to the first final so like you said blokes didn't value there wicket when batting, care to weigh in on that one....
think it was about two or three of our batsmen krafty....
gatty was one of them but he brings that upon himself. we have a go at gattyhe is just that sort of person..
dont get me wrong , MR MARSHALL is a great bat and I never take him lightly, I take pride in taking his wicket and any top order batsmen. I dont have a problem with any vista lads , they play the game the way I play. play hard and at the end we always have a chat and sometimes a beer, but when the game starts all I see is another batsmen as I would think they think the same way.
play to win . and then drink and have a laugh at the end.
MARSHALL is a great player as most of vista is also, just saying it was sweet revenge getting him out cheaply after he was saying a few words to one of our batsmen that was not out at the end, hoddo was the unluckiest blokes on the day ,
absolutely smashed the ball and for pistol to hang onto it was unreal (bad luck hoddo)
smithy also unlucky being caught at point by a one hand catch![]()
glad I didnt have to move . just stuck the hand out and there it was...........as we are all saying this game is really for nothing as we dont care where we play the final.
will be a good finish to the regular season and then retirement from a grade for me........going to play b grade and have some fun from next season.....or maybe turf one day comp....pooraka one day comp has a couple of old fellas that I know and play indoor with so maybe.........
