Probably WYC, after our Skip consumed numerous beverages they attempted to befriend him. Fortunately I put in a couple of phone calls to restore his hatred of them... ;)

HAHA nice AF.

Im not sure if it was us, but Brad Christie was the offending party on your behalf wanting to know our club song Bazza ;) Have not heard about this clearance thing before here. Would be a great week for him to change though wouldnt it with WYC v NH playing each other this week.

Also, i believe it was a unanimous NO by the executive committee for JB to be allowed to play. Believe there also looking into the Paul Tam and NH issue aswell.
I think the fact that JB has asked to play over two games for us, as thats how the games work, the fact that he would then be playing in two different associations over the same game (ASCA wise) would not allow him to play any way. It is not possible for a player to play Sect 1 and then Sect 4 in the same game, so they said why should it be different for player from a different comp. Fair view IMO. And they admitted the ASCA secretary made a mistake and it was not a precedent, and that this is now the precedent.

AF i believe he did call you at one stage to tell you what a wonderful bunch of lads we are, and bazza your young offending player does sing our song very well so maybe a clearance wouldnt be such a bad thing ;) I know for a fact that a few of our players now have much more of an appreciation for JC than we did before lol...never seen jagerbombs turned in to quite a party trick before lol

I would say you haven't been told the whole story there bazza. He certainly wasn't pressured into signing a clearance form, infact we don't have any clearance forms we do them all electronically. He made first mention of the clearance, obviously in a joking manner, and yes i did talk to him on the phone and he was under the weather somewhat so i said we can speak again after he has had a sleep, not expecting to get a call.

Adelaide Cavaliers were also penalised last night for their non attendance at 3 meetings for the year so they will lose 6 premiership points from all their sides.

Any chance the bays and a few other sides can miss some meetings too :D ;)

Yes it was a weak moment for JC and I'm very disappointed in him. Apparently he even gave away his training secrets that have turned him into the superstar he is today.

thats why skinny manages the team isnt it? put on a few beers for the boys, make sure they have a few wyc players down there and anything could happen... its how they got harvey... they even told me the door was always open after the 1st assoc. game last year.

fair enough ck... i will apply for a dual registration with another club away from the asca because every other association does it...

not whinging or anything but if a teams a grade is in sec 1 and b grade is in sec 4... a player can play 1 week in the a's and week 2 in ths b's... IMO that is a pretty poor reason to not allow me to play but hey if you pay penuts you get monkeys, i cant say im too suprised really or all that pissed off.

Now Moe. you can not say things like that!

People may take u the wrong way and think your trying to do a Mick Miller and pay players to get to the club!! Apparently saying players are welcome is not the right the thing to do

i am unsure as to why anyone would wanna say they play for Western Youth Centre anyway... It sounds like a juvenile detention centre...

Yeah just like Sheidow have tried to get WYC boys over to your club aswell. With you and JB being the frontrunners ;)
Heard from a source that WYC didnt want you or Sarge over because the no-turtle-allowed rule ;)

In all seriousness, we see if people want come join us, as all clubs ask, but atleast we dont go throwing money like certain clubs ;)

OH!
Never mentioned $$.
Every new recruit can expect the following:
1. A new nickname. Often one which makes no sense at all.
2. A free beer or two after his first game
3. To be bagged non stop if he fails
4. To be made a legend for a week if he does well.
5. To enjoy the finest afternoon teas in the league ;)
6. Not have to play with jb
