Ah Yoda, welcome back champ. Long time between posts from you.

On a special note, I noticed Ziggy Vitkunis got a Hat Trick on the weekend. Well Done that man. =D>
Maybe he could be pushing for an A Grade game this week as surely he deserves another go. Made runs & taken wickets this year so far.

well you would hope so. yet again compass failed to defend 200+ runs against a side that has self confessed batting problems. you can make 220 everyweek but if sides are continually batting their full 70 overs against you your not going to win many games. taking 10 wickets on the other hand tends to be a more successful strategy

how did the myponga boys go on the turf on the weekend? obviously getting rolled for 70 odd they didnt go real well but after some thoughts from inside the camp. little bit of rain on friday night would have had a little bit of juice in it for butler, lintern and moules.

surely young Jake Grenfell would be in contention to make the association team this year, has had a great year so far with the bat and is super quick in the field... For those of you who cant put a face to the name, he played "Alan" off the hangover.

Apparently you could put your finger through the top of the surface. Bays would not call the game off. After 3 rain breaks and at 5:30 with 25 overs still to bowl, they called the game off. Great work from the Bays :-q

It is not enc bays fault, we pay umpires good money to make decisions on pitch and ground conditions. Sure we used to always try and bat on the first week whenever we played there so they couldnt juice it up, but unforeseen rain is not their fault!! Who was the umpire wow?

my slower ball puts a grade batsmen to shame! have picked up a few with my flight and dip....wiw24 you are correct i do need to show some respect to the straight skidders....being your the only one to get me out in that fashion.....and for victor robertson.....boys hes 19 years old and has been opening the bat for goolwa for 2 years....give him a break ey? he is a very talented cricketer must of been because he grew up with another talented cricketer hahah god im funny! yes i did make the team with my action shaun tait plays for australia with his action and lasith plays international cricket with his action so whats the point..? no i wont play international cricket but ill still get wickets in this association :)

spoke to a few of the bays lads yesty. said the pitch wasnt that bad and that it would've helped if the pongy boys just played their shots instead of trying to survive. they said scater played his shots and made 25 or so in no time. playing on a wet pitch is massively overrated. it takes away from the bowling just as much as it does from the batting. mollers turn would have been slow and anything remotely short would have sat up and asked to be hit for 4. and when you bowl out the worst batting lineup in the comp out in 34 overs with 36 still to go why wouldnt u have a crack at the outright. they said they bowled 10 overs in the second innings then it started raining so they pulled the stumps. more than fair in my opinion

when chris butler gets hit over cover for 4 in the first over of the innings i dont think there is a problem with the turf. Myponga new they were going to lose regardless so they were trying to come up with any excuse to slavage a point out of the game..if enc bay were meant to be batting im sure myponga would not have hesitated to bowl..maybe the lesson is if you win the toss on the turf then bat, dont bowl.

by all means if you can find some people who will volunteer their time to wake up in the middle of the night when it begins to rain and drive down to the oval and place the covers on then that would be fantastic, but its not that simple chucka

I'm very qualified to give my opinion. you must have me confused with some-one else. several a grade tonnes give me the right.
fancy comparing tait to yourself, nothing wrong with a slinging action, i was refering to the stuttering run up and the inability to look at where your bowling when releasing the bowl. i know its hard to ease up on the arrogant pills but give every-one a break.
