Played a lot of juniors at Elizabeth CC. Played with some good players there too.
Also played C grade when I was 15. Made a few runs that year and kept a little too.

From 18 I've played for Northern Districts in PDCA.
And then moved to the Riverland where I've played for Loxton since 1998.
Have been president of the club for six years before resigning this season. Currently having a year off, basically to see if someone else will run the club so I can come back solely as a player.

Played in RTCA premiership in 2000. Also played for Murray District in country carnival one year as a keeper.

Not much chop. But I play hard and honest.

Still playing for Mylor...

Started in U/11 in 82/83 at the age of 9. That makes this my 25th season!!!

I have opened the bowling, turned to left-arm orthodox, kept wickets and batted in every position, including a memorable 98* from No.10.

Currently captain of the Cs for a second time. Have played in all senior grades and have also captained the Ds, and occassionally filled in as captain for the Bs.

Have only played in a handful of finals and never won a premiership.

Coached U/10s and U/12s for a few seasons between 1998-2003.

Have been club secretary for the past 13 seasons except for two half seasons when I was overseas.

Have also been on the HCA committee for about 7 or 8 years too, and was their treasurer for a while.

Bloody hell! Someone nominate me for a SACA volunteer award!

I remember playing Shell Shield against one of the Ellicott boys (not sure which one) at Ovingham one day - as the train to Perth was going past, he hit a six which smashed a window!

Granted Ovingham's a small oval - but it's still no small distance to travel.

Cubby had a very wicked sense of humour, didn't realise how handy a cricketer he was actually.
