so here we r finally... finals time!! what do people think about this weeks fixtures??

Both games should be crackers, compass v willunga is always tight and the winner will be tough to beat come GF weekend
Vale v myponga will also be huge, myponga r extremely dangerous side and could quite easily knock off the vale, but vale reigning back to back premiers are very experienced when it comes to finals cricket and can never be taken lightly, should be a great weekend of cricket.

also what do people think about playing at pt elliot?? in the a grade the only time you play there is finals time, and i personally think goolwa is the better oval, so it baffles me that the GF is always at pt elliot instead of goolwa!!

cant spend the $1.50 to buy the times your self WIW24??? haha!! there lie all the answers, I dont want to seem like to much of an academic but i thought the fixtures would have spelt out how the ladder ended up WIW24!! Compass v Willunga & VALE v myponga. Therefore the ladder ended as:

Compass
Willunga
VALE
Myponga

Hope your a little more switched on come sat/sun WIW24, or you may not be around to even bother with next weeks fixtures!!!

I wonder how close the ladder actually finished up, will be a very interesting round of cricket! Willunga have managed to just hang on to 2nd, compass storming home must put them favourites for the game this wkend and the prize overall! Vale have finished well however havnt had the toughest competition of late, and myponga are looking amazing atm who knows how they will go, confidence must be sky high!

Speaking of being switched on JR - aren't Myponga know known as Myponga/Sellicks, and aren't VALE known as McLaren Districts?? Obviously you don't sound like "to much of an academic"!!!

Sounds like you're living in the past there...

Maybe we'll start calling Willunga "McLaren Vale South"..

You are way off the mark AGAIN rocky. Spoke to St Nick and no probs with fees for Willunga. Sounds like sour eggs from Goolwa AGAIN. Maybe if you blokes concentrated more on cricket then you may actually achieve something.

WHAT, was at the meeting and they had not paid fees and like stated i am not criping as we didnt make finals i said we were not good enough so lay off Goolwa there mate if all and i mean ALL other clubs have to pay fees by a certain time then so should Willunga rules r rules Myponga,Aldinga and yankalilla all had to pay up from other years before being even alowed to play the rule was brought in this year about fees and fines by Sir Bob and it was clearly stated that if fines and fees had not been paid by xmas no points were to be awarded and all of this was only found out last week that no fees had been paid yet ,Same kind of thing happened this time last year which would of put one side out and another in but they wouldnt do anything about it as it would be to hard so what do we do just keep letting people get away with these things bad luck to Enc Bay as u should be by the RULES be playing this week .....ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smithy, you'll see I actually quoted the great man JR on that one from his post.. yes I could have picked him up on the lack of spelling prowess evident there, but I thought the moderators might have thought that was going a bit too far!!

Any chance of rain on the weekend?
