I have just been asked to let everybody know about the game LM. I have nothing to do with the cricket at North Pines.
I do know they have had 4 new light posts installed. Surely they would have had to get permission from the PDCA to make this game a day/nighter?

Not really, as long as both teams agree it's all good. Salisbury North have great lights but I'm not fully convinced it's a level playing field when it comes to cricket.
Good luck to them though.

Salisbury North dipping the toe into the water this weekend, proposing a day/nighter v Riverside in Div 2 for the first round of one dayers. Just working out if we (Riverside) will have a team available for Saturday night before deciding, but some of the boys are keen for it.

If it meant a couple of your better players were unavailabe due to it being a D/N match then surely you would decline?

So thats gold! Do u rate brad nixon yet or are u still gonna say he aint good enough to be playin div 1? Even after 30odd wickets last season, 2 this season in div 2, plus already havin 20wickets in div 1 this year. Surely you gotta rate him somewhat?

Pretty sure what I said is I dont how he keeps doing it. Doesnt look like much, not much pace but u cant argue with the stats. U even quoted his wickets last season n mentioned how good a haul that was. N how well he is going this season

So my question remains. Do u rate him yet lol

Salisbury North have been doing it for a few years now, be wary, there's about a half an hour period between 6:30 & 7:30 where the ball is very hard to detect. Before and after this time it's pretty good.

Perhaps he's improved a fair bit mate, I've heard the same thing from around the traps aswell. He's a good lad and I'm happy to see him do well, you bowl the ball in the right area's and you're always going to be in with a chance to take wickets.
