I think that the split of games is good, with equal amounts of One-Dayers and Two-Dayers. Although i do believe that the One-Dayers should be both before and after Christmas / New Year and maybe one or two at the start of the season.
Personally, i like Two-Day matches more.
The T20 Cup that they have on seems like it could work. Definitely a great incentive to do well there. Maybe next season we could have both first round games at one ground so that all teams are at the one place and the club that hosts it has the opportunity to make some money from it.
Attracting other teams to the competition is a tough one. Maybe as Cougar said, we could look at recruiting some teams from other competitions.. but is this a long term answer?
Maybe teams need to look at linking up with Schools or Junior / Senior Football Clubs to look at bringing in some younger faces. This is an interesting topic. It'd be good to see what everyone else thinks.. BB, Auto, Typewriter, Smasha etc..

I fully agree with your assessment of what should've happened re the umpire in question however. Also, you know how you sAid you'd gladly play this Sunday vs PDCA....
