Morris is it from Smithfield? Another bloke who seems to be making runs, and did last year as well

Not even in his clubs best 11 according to whoever picks SW cricket sides.

Quality batsmen and quality keeper cant believe he was dropped from their side would fit in well at EPFC

Has had 2 hits all season.....one of them being his innings against Rose & Crown. Requested to have a hit in the twos and give our 14yo in his debut year more of an opportunity. He'll be back sooner than later.

No doubt he is too quality a bat to play anything lower than div 2.

Probably shows the character of him as well willing to go back to the b grade and give an oppurtunity to a younger bloke while his still working his back into it.

Could do with a few lads like that at EPFC at the moment.

I wouldnt say that, what div3 team couldnt do with a Parkhouse in their batting lineup. I think he would make every single team in PDCA first eleven.

Grade 2 update

ATCO all out for 58 vs OTH - think they were chasing 170... follow-on has been enforced.

S.West 8/86(ish) chasing Craigmores 351

Sals west lost outright for the first time in 13 years today, a fired up sals west now I would think..

Rosies got up pretty easily in the end bowled out for 150 with smithfield 5 for 120ish in reply.. Jim hit raud in the helmot 3rd over of the 2nd innings, thank **** he was wearing one cause it pushed the grill against his nose, but he then went on to make a good 50, hits them very clean..

Saw a Herchelle Gibbs type moment today in the Lodge's B grade.

Ball was hit to mid on, fella from CU took the catch, went to throw it up and proceeded to balls up the celebration. Very funny, he even appeared to plead to the umpire for the catch.

Didn't matter in the end, CU gave us a pantsing!!!

If this true, depending on results etc SW could be sitting as low as 7th after this round, when would be the last time they were that low?!

great run chance by EPFC yesterday.

We managed to chance down Atco's 287 with 10 balls spare and 3 wickets left.

Some really good partnerships Whalan and DJ Mcintyre put on 90, then DJ and Marty Ryan put on over 50 and to finish it two young lads under 18's years old Maurice Freeman and Daniel Jeffries put together a 70 run partnership at more than a run a ball.

We finished 8 for 317

DJ McIntyre 78
Whalan 64
Freeman 63
M.Ryan 33
D.Jeffries 30

Rosies made the runs 5 down, were 8/110, some late slapping got them to 149, next 3 balls were belted after the helmet hitting, Jimmy 0/39 off of 5 overs. Smithfield put on a 94 opening partnership in the 2nd dig.
