Andrew Haslett needs 9 runs today,in his final match, to take the Mantle of most runs for West Torrens Cricket Club. Over 200 A Grade matches, over 15 seasons, a club and Grade Cricket Legend. Good Luck to him!

Semi Finals
Tea Tree Gully vs Glenelg
Kensington vs East Torrens

Bays breathe a sigh of relief! Don't know how East Torrens missed out on a home final. Stuck in the stalls in their last two games.

State players available?

Is the final at Adelaide Oval?

Cullen Bailey 12th man for the redbacks. Wonder if he will be released to come back and play on the weekend for Glenelg?

Not starting to worry about outside influences FS or looking for excuses?

Looks like one of the games is as good as done.
Very poor that an A grade side could get knocked over for just over 100.
Look like a TTG v ET final

I don't think that Kensington will be conceding just yet. They were in a far worse position a few years ago in a semi against University, ended up winning outright and beating us by 14 runs in the Grand Final.

Is that the one where Uni sung the song after the first innings then Dean Waugh walked in and said it ain't over yet?

Sure was, and half of the University players turned up on the Sunday without their gear, believing the game was over!! They had to borrow bats etc.

Nice story lads, but zero truth to it. Uni didnt sing any song after the first innings, and I can guarantee there were 11 Uni blokes with all their gear with them on the Sunday. Obviously this one has been embellished slightly over the years!!

Not so sure about the singing of the song, but some Uni players definitely did not have their gear with them on the Sunday when they first arived at Adelaide Number Two.
Either that, or the story about not bringing their gear was started even before the second day's play commenced!

Onto current finals:
TTG in all sorts in both A's and B's:

A Grade: 4/61 chasing Glenelg's 191
B Grade: 6/60 chasing West Torrens 192. Bourney with five wickets!

Cheers

TTG 5/69 in the A's.

Not a good day for the Gullies.
