felt like a 16 Reds game  Awesome effort by the boys to roll the top side on day one. Now to go for the kill :)

By "seniors", I assume you mean D Grade.

well half the team is still eligible for 16's but yes you would assume correctly.

Must have been a bit like the pitch in India at present, hence the heavy watering. Ooohhhh and the only wet deck on 2 x 35+ days in Adelaide.

cmon Hound, what about when we had 250 on the board and you blokes kept the mower and roller in the shed because of 1mm of rain ;)

do you know if its a council prepared oval? I know their C & D grade oval isnt

Unfortuanetly FS we have now control over the preperation of the pitch at Immanuel and the groundsman are under pressure to make sure the grounds are in tip top nick for the exclusive fee paying parents, so any hint of rain no chance of play there. From memory they called it off on Friday afternoon and we gave you the option of turning up (maybe 250 was not enough  ) and the Saturday was alright, however dont think we were the only game to get called off.

If a home club doesn't get a deck up they should automatically lose outright - no excuses!

I think we'd find the quality of covers as well as the man-power to get them on and off would magically improve!

The oval in question is a secondary school in a north eastern location....

I'm surprised to hear that that ground has sprinklers given the state it's usually in

:? dont even remember posting this.... solid day!

Great game of cricket probably one of the best games ive seen. Uni on the ropes early Cooper and Christian back in the shed, Oswald-Jacobs and Allegretto steadied the ship before Plunkett showed his experience and composure with 60 odd and got Uni up to a competitive score if 196.

TTG started well before losing 3 wickets in quick succession, small partnership chipped the score away before Uni then had TTG on the ropes 8 down with 25 runs to get. Tim and Brad Evans then secured the win with 4 balls to go. Tim carrying his bat for 81 of 130 balls and winning the Bob Zadow medal.

Trav Head with a monster 6 down the ground off Plunket over the screen and into the first level of the new stand….

Amazing finish to grade season. Jets toppled Glenelg, Browns snuck over line vs TTG which means the top 4 still undecided.

TTG 130 - vs ND
ET 122.5 - vs Uni
Glen 120 - BYE
Ken 115 - vs SD
ND 107.5 - vs TTG

Nervous wait for the Bays!

Northern vs TTG.
Going to be tough for Northern as TTG haven't lost a one day match in over 2 years.
Out of the top 4, Kensington looking the good for me.

As tempting as it would be, as Glenelg I think have more match winners then ND, you don't mess with form, plus I don't think there is such a thing as an "easy final"

depends on how arrogant you want to be.

Didn't Dean Waugh say a game wasn't over after they lost on first innings? Went out and hit enough in the 2nd dig to win the game outright. Believe the opposition already sung the song after the first innings may also have been a final?

 the challenge Cammo has set the lads all year is to beat anyone, on any day and from any position.

We will play who we play, we got caught out against Kensies last week by losing the first couple of sessions. After that the boys faught hard as well as being a bowler after Jace O'Hara broke down mid week and Jake not being available.

Focus is definately bouncing back from a loss last game.
