They have taken boring cricket to a new level ;) . 92 runs in 60 overs is amazing on Hackham but at West Beach primary that makes it more amazing.

The association emailed out the rules and they state fielding restrictions for 8 overs and a 35m circle. We played 8 oves against Plympton first game but set a circle just under 30m as 35m is way too big.

For anyone interested, a copy of the 20/20 rules can be found on the Ramblers' website:

17 in a row you say?
that wouldn't happen to include section 2 wins does it?
because forgive me if im wrong, but section 2 is a different kettle of fish compared to section 1.

im sure AF and roseboy would agree that your section 2 wins doesn't count for diddly squat now that your in section 1.
so i think what you were trying to say JB was that you have won 4 games in a row.

They have won 17 in a row  it's just that only 4 of them are in section 1 where it really matters. Still go through a season undefeated is no mean feat whether it be section 1 or 2.

When you have more than half the side made up of E grade players, I would be more concerned if i was in the Ramblers camp only winning by a couple of wickets, troubles a head for them I think :-?

You can only beat the side you're put up against. We've decided to take the competition seriously, I don't think we're the only club that has. I also don't see a problem with that.

Big call to say "troubles a head" - it wasn't what you'd call normal cricket conditions. Average lighting (dusk made it pretty tough for both sides), white ball, very limited overs... I will admit it was far from convincing.

And a 15 year old made 29* out of that facing Corretti. Im happy they faced there 60 overs, I think that might be the first time this year that they have batted the 60.

I am just surprised that they only got 92. I thought maybe a few more edges would've been found and some runs scored by that but obviously the keswick boys bowled very well all day.
