Would have been an entertaining innings no doubt, he said during the week he was still feeling the efffects of the incident but wanted to get on with playing and not sit out any more matches.

Heard the scoreboard up on the hill was a target at some stages, monster hit that one! Still remember as a 15 yo
seeing Mark Higgs hitting bombs up there for fun!

TTG dismissed Woodville for 73, why did they bat again and not seek the outright? Batted for 44 overs in second innings...

I was going to ask the same question? TTG think they have done enough to secure a home final? :?

Same teams as the T20 grand final.

I wonder if Uni will have Cooper, Mennie and Christian available? Plus Head and Haberfield for the Gullies. Would be an awesome game.

I was going to ask the same question? TTG think they have done enough to secure a home final? :?

Probably didn't want to spend 96 overs in the field with the one day semi the next day.

Probably a good call. They basically can't miss finals now - Jets are 37.5 points behind them with two to play.

Correct Tony

We had to also take into consideration that we were 1 bowler down after an injury during the week at training and weaver also 50/50 coming back from a side strain. No risks on a hot day and it could have been the difference yesty going down to the last over.

Another great 1 day Century to Tim Evans, and Sommers taking a lazy 14 wickets for the weekend.

Five teams still in the race, two games to play

TTG 130
East Torrens 122.5
Glenelg 120
Kensington 100
Northerns 92.5

Big games this round:
TTG vs Kens
Glen vs Northerns

Big games next round:
TTG vs Northerns
Glenelg bye

East Torrens have got Adelaide and Uni so you'd expect them to go through with a home semi. A great effort. When was the last time they played finals?

Will be a very interesting finish if Northerns can topple the Bays this week.

Don't write of the Buffs in the last 2 rounds, destroyed Uni's finals chances last week and looking to cause some more havoc over the final weeks of their season.

Deano, is that you???

Would be nice if Raff just made some runs for a change. Can't rely on that beanpole Phil Neate to get runs every week ;)

Nostradamus!

Adelaide set to cause a boilover! Jets made a few against Bays and TTG struggling at Kensington. If the results fall the way they look currently (dangerous presumption I know) this will be the ladder going in to the last game:

TTG 130
East Torrens 122.5
Glenelg 120 - bye
Kensington 115
Northerns 107.5

A very nervous wait for the Bays.

Interesting to hear that "the sprinklers got left on overnight on Friday" in a 4 v 5 U/16 reds game on the weekend. That is after the pitch had a very heavy watering on Thursday arfternoon!

Must have been a bit like the pitch in India at present, hence the heavy watering. Ooohhhh and the only wet deck on 2 x 35+ days in Adelaide.

The Seniors game I played in on the weekend felt like a 16 Reds game  Awesome effort by the boys to roll the top side on day one. Now to go for the kill :)

Be interested to know which oval. I'd imagine most ovals clubs play on are council owned...
