So that the u/21's and seniors can be played side by side. That would be the main reason i would think.

Would like to welcome 2 more recruits to the club. Barton Sweet from Broken Hill, young, fit all rounder to definately push fo A grade, maybe even this week.
One other who i have not met yet & have not got a name but has been cleared.
We had about 60 names on the selection board last night, so Thursday night training is imperetive.
Also have about 20 blokes who want to play in the T20 on friday night, so if you want to play, you have to train.
Thank christ i am not a captain

Gee i bet our footy club is jealous! ;)

RM i suspect there wil be a reasonable crowd actually! Being at NH gives the chance for the 21s to be next to the seniors, and also the chance for clubs (wyc, icc) who have players in both grades!!

Will predict 2 losses for ASCA though!

Like Bloods mentioned we have the two ovals, the playing surfaces are pretty good, and the facilities are also very good. And if its warm there will a nice sea breeze in the arvo.

We would have atleast 55 names on the list but you need that many to fill 4 teams because so many blokes are unavailable for one or both weeks of a game.

We need 66 names each week. We had 121 people play for us last year. It does get hard to fill the bottom grade sometimes but we manage.

Well Done to North Haven for getting a team and game goin on short notice and in ridiculous conditions. Bad Luck to Keswick for having to cancel one of our more popular social events due to the Association's piss poor communication re: Association games (or complete lack thereof).
I believe one of the Keswick guys Retired Too Hot?

WYCBloods any chance of Keswick getting a home game for the next T20 round? Thanks buddy

Gowser. Its a complete random draw and you may not get a home game at all.

WYC have not played any t20 games at home yet since the comp started. We did get drawn for a home game but couldnt due to juniors!!

Retired too hot? lol iv never heard that before!

Considering it costs clubs money to play these matches it would be nice if each club got a chance to raise some funds back on the day.
Surely it is not that hard?

Genuine Question on how it costs your club money to play this game?

It will have to be looked at next year as to how to work out how clubs get a home game but with the way it is done randomly atm you may get all 4 at home or none luck of the draw.

We don't really care where we play but common sense should prevail sometimes.
Our senario was Rnd.1 Morphies home to South Road- Sth Rd fofeit. Coro Ramblers Rnd.1 home. Round 2 Ramblers v. MPCC, stuff coin toss MPCC plays home.

By the way Ramblers were very easy to get along with in organising this Friday night, so this is not having a shot at them.
It's the lazy dills sitting on the Assoc committee that should be aware of such things. Some probably are, but giving Morphies anything would turn some of their stomachs.

Balls, scorebook, wear and tear on equiptment etc. There might be other costs for some clubs eg; lighting for night games.
We hired a mini bus for the match @ North Haven, cost us a small fortune!

Ck actually quite concerned about a couple of our players Sunday night and being able to cope with the heat. I thought about retiring after 8 overs. This player is 40 + had the shakes and cold flushes plus he was getting confused about what end he was at in between overs. Even after he did retire he struggled just sitting down. We had another player leave the field after 12 overs batting and 10 overs keeping. I myself thought of retiring after 8 pvers batting. Certainly not a " lol " senario champ
