Would never have happened when Basil Baylis was in charge of the coffers!

The fines would have, but not the late report & budget.

Bloody hard to squeeze so many all-rounders in one team and make it work.

There's the batting line-up nightmare and then who bowls downstream.

I remember it was a big issue at Smithfield when we were good having so many opening bowlers and others getting pissed off bowling into it or first change, they could all bat too.

There was constant chatter coming from EP last year that there was a few 'minor issues' with players not being happy about their roles in the side etc etc.

I know it was denied a few teams on here but a lot of chatter was coming directly from players themselves.

I know as fact Banksy did his absolute best to try and make it work for all but at the end of the day 2 doesn't fit into 1, 8 doesn't fit into six etc etc

TBH if Woody is the only one they lose Banksy and co have done a great job to keep most of the blokes happy to still play there.

Woody had stated before that he wouldn't play against the Units and as they gained promotion it looks like he is keeping to his word.

Well they only picked up Benny and Woody, both very talented but they did also possess some handy all-rounders.

Woody is a big loss to anyone but you can't really blame him for going back, assuming he is heading back there, probably better for the comp too.

dublin possibly looking a bit on the light side with numbers this year with their leading run scorer and bowler looking elsewhere. Luckily they’ll be dropping down to div2.

Hoping to go to Grade 3 and getting some old heads back. They're aiming at 3 two day teams.

Let the old heads play in the B grade then if they don't want to play grade 2. If they are looking to field 3 two day teams they could be in grades 2, 3 and 4 as there were only 4 grades of 2 day cricket last season. Surely exec wouldn't allow them to play 1 team in grade 3 and 2 teams in grade 4 even with Clarko and Quinny being involved.
