I probably would have been picked in the starting 11 for the assoc team , going by my stats I think i WOULD HAVE DESERVED THE RIGHT TO PLAY. AND AS SOME SAY JUST ROCK UP AND PLAY IS CRAP. and yes I am also over 40, big deal, still get wickets , still open the bowling, still make runs ...oh hang on that last one not so true this season
dont think age has anything to do with it, and if you make it a young side with no experienced players , you will struggle.
goat herder is the right man for the job and you cant juge him when you dont know him, no one works harder than he does when it comes to rep sides, except for OB and AUTO last year. to be honest to all that want to bag and moan and groan.....
YOU HAVE A GO...EITHER COACH OR PLAY...... and see how you go....at least we are willing to have a crack.
dont ever be shy .....you can come and talk to me anytime and discuss anything cricket related .....
you know who I am , if not just ask and someone will point you in the right direction. we can talk about assoc team

Because i'm bored and have no life I thought i'd go through some of the stats and if that's what we're picking on this "old" bloke you're all talking about in Ian Henderson should get a start before you Smasha. Also how does a kid who averages 10 with the bat get in the side?

hendo is a good player yes, no doubt.
if picked before me then great, no problems there.
as for the young one getting picked with an average of 10 ? no idea as I wasnt there.
but maybe just maybe thats all that was available on the night and maybe just maybe hendo is on stand by, by his own choice MAYBE. are you playing ? do you play ? if not , why do you care ?

Borgas
Hodson

Reidy

Marshall
Balding
Clarke
Nitschke
Spry

Good side young jugs, i think i would pick the exact same side minus Hoddo and bring in Holland with a reshuffle of the batting order.

That'd be a great side IF all of them were available! :?

Balding - unavailable
Marshall - unavailable
Mills - not interested
Nitschke - not interested
Smith - injured

While we're at it ;

Atkins - not interested
A.Roling - obviously not interested
T.Roling - roped in by the big hairy lassoo..
Tarca - unavailable
A.Frith - not interested
Frick - unavailable

Any other names that anybody wants to throw out there while we're on the topic??

I think the Ian Henderson who plays for Rose Park is the former Scottish Rugby Union player born in 1918 on that list Auto
