Paying big $'s are we Jabba ??

If looking outside the Club for someone to coach our club is worth laughing at, well I guess that's up to you. I've posted it as a topic on safooty if any want to have a look at it rather than speculate on what we may or may not want/need.

As with most coaching positions in any sport where an outsider is sought, renumeration would be offered in line with the coaching ability of the applicant.

I don't see the problem with looking for a coach, in fact i think it is a good positive move from your club jabber.

I do find it funny a keswick person finding humour in another club looking at paying someone at their cricket club.

Who gets paid at keswick? Jabber i think getting a coach in is an excellent idea. PFCC have plenty of talented players in your a grade side and getting a coach in would only help them along. good luck with the search

Cheers mate thanks for that!

I highly doubt they would be on the move again next year.

I'm on 1x 600mL iced coffee for every ton. Needless to say, I'm pretty thirsty.

Pay and reward different things? Anywho, it's all he say, she says. Move on.

What club awards are up for grabs this year?
Our cricketer of the year (voted by the playing eleven) in a grade, will go to Robbie one would think despite a big fight from Kingy. I reckon Kingy would win it at nearly another club with the year he has had. 343 runs at 40 and 27 wickets.
Robbie however pulled out a bigger year.

Has just retired from ramblers at the end of the semi. Proven player in our comp. Has captained a side to a semi in 2 of the last three years.

The issue that we may have if JC were to apply would be the conflict of interest after christmas. As a Cricket Club i assume we would want the successfull applicant to be fully focussed on the job at hand and anything less would be unacceptable, and we understand that his primary role is that of A Grade footy coach.

JC is more than welcome to apply, and put his case forward during his interview as to how he would manage his time during the busy period after christmas.

I doubt JC would apply for it. He wants to spend more time with the family.

I have heard that Glenelg ANA are thinking of relocating to PHOS Camden to tap in to the juniors at the footy club. That would mean that they would be playing on turf.

Not a bad move for their club IMO

Be good to have them get juniors into their club and maybe build a couple more sides instead of the two team club.

The club won't be there in 10-15 years unless they get some juniors.

Warradale are an example of what will happen to the bays if they do nothing.

Ramblers have started developing our junior program over the past couple of years which is proving hugely successful. Defiinitely a good move for ana as from memory they dont have alot of young players in sect 1. the rowes cant play forever!
