Don't think that is entirely correct. Initial visa was until early Feb was supposed to be changed until March but for what ever reason this did not happen...

Perhaps we might have to hold the Bradman in Karachi. What I cannot understand is why he played Futures League unless down the track he was trying for permanent residency. Deals done in the hallways of SACA? Conspiracy theories abound.

No good either since Stiffy lives in Lahore...... That's where the Buffs End of season presentations are ;)

I heard he went home due to a car accident

Should be a good night. Might get a decent crowd too with school holidays still on. Looks like being perfect weather as well.

Pity it's Uni. They'll have 2 travelling fans, including their scorer and 12th man.

OPPORTUNITY MISSED FOR SACA
With the BANK SA under 17 Final between TTG and Glenelg being abandoned today due to heat. Opportunity for the game to be a curtain raiser to T20 final has gone with both side being awarded a win last night. (I'm sure all would give medals back to have a crack at each other)

Would have been great to see the future on show before the A grade and fantastic for the kids to play before a crowd. Surely not hard to re-schedule the fixture??
After all has the best kids from accross the state playing for 2 weeks, bit silly not to have a final at the end.

Reason given 42 too hot for underage players. What happens on Saturday when the same kids are playing senior cricket?? They still play regardless of the heat.

Some Grade clubs have country zone players in their u/17 squads so probably wouldn't work.

Played 2 weeks of cricket already and almost all of them will be backing up from Saturday commitments.

Are you sure?
Country red and black would take up most of those players.

Why wouldn't they just play the game another time?

It's still school holidays next week. I'm sure the kids would rather play in a grand final even if they end up losing rather than just share the trophy.

Not necessarily, clubs that engage with their country zone properly would find a couple of players that would make their squads. Some may even elect to play for their zone club instead of the country teams

The county red/black sides are picked on performance during the country cup. TTG had a lad who was with the SACA 15 squad until the last cut before the BankSA carnival, he had a poor country cup and didnt make the side hence played with TTG.

Well done to TTG for backing up a good carnival last year (narrowly loosing the semi after going the minor round un defeated). Obviously not the best way to win the comp but what can ya do.

Also, I dont think anyone has mentioned Jamie Diener from Glenelg hitting 205 (opening the batting) in the last minor round game. Amazing effort!

 all the promotion definitely paid off mate, there was well over a thousand people there yesterday. Would have been still 150 people at the club when I left at 11pm. :partyman: great atmosphere

TTG 8/133 (Tim Davey 40 odd, Adcock with 5fa)

UNI all out 110 in the 19th over

Ladder with 4 Rounds to go:

Glenelg 9 105
Tea Tree Gully 8 100
Northern Districts 9 92.5
East Torrens 8 92.5
Kensington 8 85
Woodville 8 77.5
West Torrens 8 75
Adelaide University 9 60
Sturt 8 52.5
Prospect 8 37.5
Port Adelaide 8 30
Adelaide 9 30
Southern District 8 22.5

Top 3 teams from last year hovering just outside the 4 with Sturt the only definite out from last years finalists at this stage. Who's likely to stay in and who will replace them? Any predictions this far out?

Big outright win for East Torrens. Well played Stingrays, outrighted in three of four grades

East Torrens vs West Torrens this week... massive game.

Woodville vs Glenelg another beauty. Bays with the bye to come.

Northerns have the bye to come and play Kensington this week. Wouldn't want to drop that one.

Three "four shaping" match ups. Calling it early but I reckon the three who win will play finals, along with TTG. Losers will miss.

Northern will drop out, playing above their ability. Glenelg, TTG will play final.
I can see that ridiculos over rate loss will cost WT a finals spot. Which will help glenelg,as they can't beat WT.
Interesting weeks ahead, who gets picked in the shield teams will become vital for some teams.

Jets 9/342 today. Will be tough to chase for the Browns, I would have thought.
