I have received a letter from the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia (HFA) which includes the appropriate licenses to raise money of their behalf with a BA$H-4-CA$H event, like we had for the Queensland Flood Appeal.

If anyone is interested in volunteering their time to help organize the day, or to help out on the day please send me a message. All help is appreciated!!

If you have any services that could be utilized (BBQ, marquees etc) or are able to donate goods (food or beverages) for use on the day please contact me. I will supply a copy of the letter so you have a copy of the fund raising licenses.

Thanks people! Lets try and get behind the event again this season and raise a good sum of money for a worthy cause!

For those who didn't play or go along on the day to watch, please do so this year! it was a fantastic day, everyone had a great time and all monies go to a great cause so please come along. Kudos to those who have organised it again this year and for everyone who are putting their hands up to help!

In some positive news for the Association, Adelaide Lutheran have decided to increase from 2 to 3 teams this season. :)

This means that there will be plenty of opportunities for anyone wishing to join our club as we look to increase our player base. We are a stable, well organized club with licensed clubrooms based in the South Parklands (along Goodwood Rd, as most people reading this forum would know).
In particular there might be people who live south of the CBD who would still like to play in our association but not have to travel to the northern suburbs every week (we are the most southern club).
Training has now moved to Thursday nights and starts at 5pm Sep 15th.
Send me a PM if anyone is interested.

Good to hear that Ecky...this assoc needs strong clubs with multiple teams. Have you picked up any superstars and what divs are you thinking?

Well, there are rumours of one superstar joining us - the biggest Borgasm of all! There is talk that Cameron Borgas is going to come out and take a training session or two.

Otherwise we are likely to pick up some of the ex-AC Blues players, as they have folded, so effectively it may not be a net gain or loss in terms of the number of teams for the association.

As for divisions, I'm guessing divs 1,3 and 4 - it looks like we are picking up more depth than new Div 1 players.

Think you will find Carey that he already has a new club.
Cos also apparently has another big signing but wont talk about it because what has
happened in the past ( the Terry Nelligan aka Potts saga ) wants him out on the park
first.

On a bright note though i personally have started my pre-season early. Saturday i
walked up Mt. Lofty for some high altitute training and cant wait for our first nets session
later on in the week!

Bring on a long hot summer!

If Brenton Reidy guides Mawson Lakes FC to the flag on Saturday, expect the whole Footy Club to sign up for Rose Park CC on the Saturday Night!
