Shopping himself around by the sounds, heard he had definitely signed at Gawler Central.
Pete & Fracka got decent sign on fees so maybe he didn't and has decided to have a look around.

There are definitely no sign on fees and no one has even spoken about it, Fracka was always going to head back to his home club, so this talk of money makes me laugh...

Fair point B&S... It was Fracka's footy club for a long time.

I felt we almost had him on board with us though this season until Pete got the gig there ;)

Was he not happy at Pooraka? Or got moved on?

Think people forget, Pete & Willie live in the Gawler area, that was a big drawing point for them going - closer to home so they can enjoy some big Sat nights

That figure is a complete myth Suns. Makes for a good talking point I guess. Their new president is scratching his head over those type of rumours. Apparently they are already having second thoughts about the path are now going down for the coming season???

My facts are right B&S from a very good source although as you are close to Frack he may be telling you differently. Maybe no sign on fee but payments will be made, I just hope he has gone to GC for the right reasons!

Fair chance you are right there SF... wouldn't imagine a clubs A grade captain walking away for nothing. We all know there is coin involved, that there is no doubt, it's just a question of how much.

Well your facts were not correct Follower, there is NO sign on fee. First you say there is, then you say in the next post maybe there wasn't, wow... perhaps just worry about yourself!

Have read the posts on here re Thomas/Frackowski/Serle with interest. But looking at results over the preceding years, why would you pay any of them an up-front "sign-on" fee?? Their runs/wickets tally is mediocre at best and surely the team they are going to has much better performing players anyway? As for coaching, to coach a side to 9th and 10th in a 12 team comp isn't exactly awe inspiring stuff. So why hand out hard earned coin for that? Is there a lot of loose money at the moment in local sport? And as Frackowski has never played cricket for Gawler Central, why is that his "home club". (anyway, I thought these posts should be on another forum??:) Just some observations guys.
