Anyone out from your first 11 selected is a loss, but as you guys know, there is not much you can do about it.

If people want to leave, you can't force them to stay. What do you suggest?

I think Carlo has been a bit of a Footy journeyman, so to become a cricket one is of no great suprise..
You are correct Plumb, if they don't want to be there then you don't need them...

Not sure Carlo would be classed as a cricket journeyman, ever since I have known him (2001-2002) he has played at Para Hills. Good player for sure, shame he had his knee injury 6-7 years ago because he could have had a decent footy career (hope he doesnt read this).

I would think losing Carlo would be nulified by when Tymko returns, will defeinitely bolster the batting stocks. I have heard after Christmas, the way things are going weather wise that would be 1-2 games more left in the year. Hills setting themselves up nicely though so far, good start to the year.

he played one game for us. Sadly I was unavailable so didn't get to play with him. I think it was a one off but we're working on him to play again.

Went quite well from all reports

If this is true, where are IF getting the money to do this?
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Yes training starts tonite at Adelaide Oval. Jeff Rogerson is the coach of the ATCA U21 team and he does a fantastic job. This is his third year and he always works hard to ensure he gets a good side to represent ATCA. A couple of years ago he and Wayne Phillips organised for the ATCA U21s to play the SACA U17s on Adelaide Oval No. 2.
They play for the SAMCA Cup and are scheduled to play 3 games against PDCA, Adelaide & Suburban and Churches and Community. The last two years Churches & Community haven't got an U21 team up, but hopefully that changes this year. Standard is pretty good. There isn't a lot between the 3 teams that have competed in the last two years - some very good cricketers

Is it a true indication of the best U21 cricketers in ATCA? Or is it the same as the open age ATCA team where quite often not the best players in the comp play (often due to not making themselves available)?
