As for Pencil great all round sportsmen and top bloke, what does he do these days? Any footy or sport at all??
[Pencil is in the Air force and has recently had a couple of tours to AfganistanI would think he would be pretty safe as he sits in front of a radar screen in a bunker and as I asked on his days off do you go window shopping.NO
There is talk of him coming out when permitted to get involved in footy this year and also wants a run with a few older lads in the C grade.
Great man the old Pencil...
Quite frankly a freak in his day..
Could of and should of achieved a lot more in both Footy and Cricket at higher levels, but like many, loved his mates..
How could you not love being around Shoe Boy and Co...
Give him my best when you next see him SB....

The game ended in a tie with Noarlunga making 137 and M/Vale requiring 1 of the last ball but making zip.
With 2 balls to go and requiring 2 to win the square leg ump who is a well known M/Vale player ruled not out to a lad that ran a quick single that was out by a mile did not attempt to ground his bat as a matter of fact kept running in an arc to walk off as he as everyone bar the square leg was aware he was out. A bit of ruckass to say the least!!!!
The other sour note was the injury to Sammy Heir who in making a fantastic effort on the boundry to stop a 4 was not good with an ambulance called and some major concern for Sams health. Thanks to all involved that attended Sam until the ambo arrived and was informed this morning that he will be ok. The Docs feel he knocked himself out and has some deep bruising to his neck and shoulder so get well big fella.(not a good night for Sam he made jack didnt bowl and went to hospital in an ambo!)

shoe boy,i find it quite ammusing you fail to mention the run out of hillman who was clearly not out,and also the incident when the big fella injured himself in which was clearly a boundary with his big frame way over the boundary line when he came in contact with the ball........so yes you can go on bout what ever you like but id say everything levelled it self out in the end.by the way shoe boy why was there no bowl off?
