Well after today atco cricket club should hang its head in shame. The cheating that happened in div 3 was nothing short of a disgrace. After sending the goats in we battled to 140 odd, and then bowled n fielded very well to have atco 9 for 120ish with 5 overs or so to play. The number 11 bat hit a drive straight to mid off who collected and threw down the stumps with a direct hit at the non strikers end leaving the number 11 bat well short of his crease despite a diving effort to make his ground. The billie goats began to celebrate the win only to realise the umpire (atcos captain) had given it not out... somehow. Apparently even square leg said he couldnt believe it was given not out. Atco went on to claim a shambolic win

Sorry Norm, I should clarify I was referring to calling the opposition "very beatable" after such a performance.

It is such an asinine statement after that result.

Whilst as coach its your job to stay positive, there are times when things can be left alone and put down to a bad day at the office. As I said earlier, any side is beatable, I just question the timing of getting on the front foot like that.
